Which is exactly what happened in Kathleens case. The special agent for the States Attorney, testified that there was little blood and no signs of foul play.

EXACTLY! no different than them ignoring all her pleas for help while she was alive ... they ignored and downplayed all the evidence of foul-play during the inquest.

Thanks for the weather update. Looking outside I was getting scared that all the eveidence was getting rained away. Thanks again!!

You're welcome. I feel sorry for the searchers though because I bet that ground is wet, muddy and slick with all of the leaves on the ground. Not to mention it's cold and raw out...

God bless them for searching! I hope they find something today!!!!

I had an awful thought today. If Drew is charged in Kathleen's murder, wouldn't it be like him to say Stacey did it?

it wouldn't surprise me at all if he claims Stacey did it, since we already know that him & Stacey harrassed Kathleen on at least one occasion....

From Gretacast:

Comment by Ric Mims
November 11th, 2007 at 12:26 am Drew said he got up at 11am and stacy was gone, Sharon told me that both cars were in the driveway at that time until 1:30pm, Drew has stated stacy called at 9pm and told him the car was at clow. if she was gone at 11am and both cars are still there. how was she gone at 11am and took the car, and it was still in the driveway???

Ric also posted that CBS is paying for his hotel room and security.

In many ways the media sensationalizes a story and beats it to death (i.e., Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Imus, Dog, etc.). OTOH, the media sometimes does some good. I just hope that they stay on this case, forcing investigations on everyone and everything related to Drew Peterson. I hope that they are able to charge him with something and make it stick.

I personally do not think that they will find Stacy. I believe that he is a psychopath who had a place picked out long ago...just in case... I surely hope that I am wrong, though.

I was obsessing about the cars last night. What do you make of the police releasing the information that Drew refused to let them search Stacy's car?

Just because their names were listed doesn't actually mean they were there. We are talking about Illinois after all.

A medical doctor is the one that has to do the autopsy. A cop cannot perform an autopsy. I believe that Dr. Mitchell performed the autopsy. IDK about the witnesses being there or not.

By the way, I thought they videotaped autopsies for reasons like this? I wonder if there is a tape of it somewhere?

What was very telling to me was Dr. Baden emphatically saying that this was a homicide. Most often the talking heads and experts mealy mouth it (to protect against lawsuits, I presume). He seemed shocked that it was ruled an accident.

Does that mean someone saw both cars gone after 1:30 am? If so, he would of needed help mopving the cars around.

I live about 50 miles southeast of Bolingbrook and hubby says it stormed and rained on and off from midnight on last night :( I slept through it all!
Trying to convince him we need to take a ride to Bolingbrook...he thinks I am nuts lol but I WANNA GO and see what is going on and if we can help in any way!

Interesting comment. If he was involved with the death of #3, that appears planned. It would be a good guess that he was capable of planning once again.

Maybe she left in her car after an argument and he went after her But then agian that wouldn't explain the cadaver dogs hitting in the house....he had to have had another person help him at least in moving the cars....someone knows more then they are saying I think!

I think this is a major coverup and now with the national coverage of Stacey they have to account for some of this.

IF it is determined that ANY of these officials did something wrong, I hope like hell they are all held responsible!

I live in this county. I vote for our officials. I'm grateful to say that I didn't live in Will County when the bumble-f***'s that botched this investigation were in office (I was living in nearby DuPage County, so I couldn't vote for them).

It's a shame that elected officials and LE have been allowed to majorly abuse their power. I hope this is a wake up call for people across the country to REALLY look into their officials BEFORE voting them into office.

Big time news over the past couple of months. Check out the link for more info.

I see. I never heard them referred to as "SOS." LOL

I have heard about all of these cases though. It's so common to hear about corruption, especially in Chicago, that really no one pays attention to it anymore. It's a shame, but it's so mundane that it's part of normal life for most people.

I'm not sure, it seems like Glasgow wants to hang this guy.

And let's not forget about the Rubbermaid container that a friend helped Drew move.

God I hope and pray everyday that they find her. At first, I was hoping that she really did leave for some emotional R&R and went to Jamaica or somewhere to clear her head, but as time goes on and more and more evidence is found, I honestly believe that IF she is found, it won't be the outcome that we all were hoping for.... :(

But even if they don't find her alive, I'm hoping and praying that they can find her so justice can be served to DP and he's put away for life.

On a side note, I do think that IF DP murdered SP, then he probably thought about it for a long time (if they were indeed fighting for months). His comment about "she's where she wants to be" is a clue to where she is. I think searchers should look to her favorite places. Maybe it was a park, maybe it was somewhere around where her sister lived before she died... but I definitely think searchers and LE should be focusing on "where she wants to be" in looking for her....
