Edited to add.............strange things DO happen. I'm reminded of the search earlier this year for Ben Owmby, 13 years old, missing for six days. When Ben was found in the apartment of his kidnapper, Michael Devlin, the police found Shawn Hornbeck, who had been missing for more than 4 years.

When I read the story the other day about how many are missing in Chicago, I thought then it would be so cool if the searches would turn up two or three other hidden graves.

Drews brother that has been at the house a lot is name Paul, the producer of CBS told me to feel free to call her anytime and that it might take her a hour or so to get back with me but will because that way we here at WS can found out if it's fact or rumor. At the time the rumor started about his brother going to the hospital the CBS producer said they have a video showing Paul going in the house with milk and a few other grocery's.

There is rampant speculation out here in Bolingbrook among some of my competitors covering this story. The latest rumor: that a relative or friend of Drew Peterson has committed suicide, because the heat of police questioning got to him. It’s mind boggling how misinformation gets spread on some of these stories. Then again, it’s our business to gather information, and you still have to turn a story, even when police aren’t talking.

FYI: the Will County State’s Attorney will not reveal when the exhumation of the body of Kathleen Savio will take place. However, it seems as if today is unlikely, because of the observance of Veteran’s Day. Typically, this is a day for families to visit cemeteries to pay respects to loved ones, and it seems implausible that a high-profile exhumation would take place, and potentially disrupt those visiting other gravesites.

I read a lot, but don't post much. But I thought I heard Tim say on TV last night that the patches of disturbed ground, one was 3 feet x 7 feet. I thought he said they throught it might be Lisa Stebic? Am I imagining this or did I hear it?

This is what I have been praying for! I pray they find Lisa Stebic while looking for Stacey! That would be a wonderful Thanksgiving gift for her family..closure and possibly her husband going to JAIL where I believe he belongs.:angel:

One of the segments we will be doing tonight is looking into Stacy Peterson’s mother — who coincidentally disappeared when Stacy was 15. Yes, vanished from her family…left the kids..etc…what happened to her??? Check in tonight at 10pm and we will have the latest….

I think this case is definitely going to be multifaceted - we're going to need a thread for the missing mother, Christie Cales, one for corruption, and probably more as this case evolves.

Running this past everyone here............I've mentioned this in previous hot cases. Often, when something major happens in a case and many people are all trying to get online at once, WS crashes from overload. In that case, I do have my own forum (news and current events), and it would only take a couple of minutes to add an additional board to continue the discussion of this case.

A ray of hope this afternoon among those looking for Stacy Peterson. Family spokeswoman, Pamela Bosco just held a press conference in Bolingbrook to brief reporters on today’s search, which included 70 volunteers. She says, Illinois State Police has provided search teams with new information about new areas, which will be searched tomorrow. “We were given…some information, that police have had, that we were now provided, they are leading us into another area.” Bosco was short on specifics on the location for tomorrow’s search. And I don’t blame her. After all, her first mission is to find Stacy…not to aid reporters. (More at link)
