Possible theories we have come up with on the interest in the computers is:

Stacy may have kept a journal on them.
DP may have said she was having an "internet affair" and they need to disprove
DP may have been into 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Maybe we'll get lucky and DP kept notes on where/what/when/whom involving Stacey. If he was stalking her, as they say, maybe he kept his own journals. We should be so lucky

Trouble In Oz?

I have just read a text version of DP's interview this am. He made a plea for American attorneys to help him.

When he went to the Grand Jury, two attorneys accompanied him. So what happened to them? Won't they continue to represent him? Does he not trust them?

RE: the computers being confiscated as part of the investigation... but keep in mind he's a cop and knows exactly what they'd do and what they'd be look for/at

I saw the interview with Matt (thanks to links provided here!) and it appears he's crying about how much this will all cost him and asked for attornies "out there" to "help" him... blech!!!!

Maybe they told him not to do interviews so they quit when he took the Today show offer anyway. He probably told them go to *ell, I'll get someone more famous to defend me after they see me with Matt Lauer.

I just heard Geraldo say on Fox that without a body he will walk around free. He is just too slick! I think right now he knows that with Kathy's body being exhumed he is in deep do-do. He is going to need a high powered attorney. But Geragos??? I am not sure even he would want this case:rolleyes:

...snip...
he would follow here wherever she went and he had GPS on her car and celphone.

Hey all! trying to catch up here with this missing case... only on the second thread of the discussions, but noticed this quote from someone (??) sorry, didn't catch the name, but IF he had GPS on her cellphone, wouldn't he know from WHERE she called that Sunday night at 9pm... ?? :waitasec: sorry if this has been answered in the previous threads...

I was thinking the same thing -- if DP had Stacy's phone tapped (I'm sure he did with his controlling ways)... then he would probably have went so far as to put a GPS on her car too so he could keep up with exactly where she was driving to.

So, if she would have left voluntarily, he would have known right then where she was by looking it up on his computer --> and he would tell LE & the media exactly where she was instead of continuing to be called a suspect... if she was alive and left on her own accord that is.

Geragos has already been out there defending this creeps "rights"... he was on Greta last night doing so...

You watch... if he goes to trial, Geragos will be right there with him defending him...

He stated, 1 trial alone will cost him 250 thousand. Guess he thinks he deserves a free lawyer. Or should I say 2 free lawyers for 2 seperate trials.

Good post. The "she is where she wants to be" made me think of her sister that recently died of cancer. Being that Stacy was deeply depressed of her death perhaps she had said several times she wished it was her or wanted to be with her. Maybe she's buried on top of her.
Ok I really think I need to step away from this case for a bit lol.

Her sister Tina was cremated.

oh boy...I just thought of something! I heard that bad cops like to use an already dug grave to dispose of a body. Then the next day the casket of the intended occupant is lowed in that grave and the hole is covered. No one would ever think of digging up someone that is not related to this case. (Letting them rest in peace and all) Were there any graves dug in a close cemetry the night she disappeared???

ok...that's crazy huh? I'll be quiet now.

Ewww- I've never heard that and I know a lot of cops...maybe they aren't among the "bad".

That would be quite a trick! Best to attend the funeral of the legit grave-dweller though, just in case the dogs track you to the gravesite!

I have a feeling Stacy will never be found. He is just way too confident and cool. He knows she won't be found & that is why he isnt really sweating anything right now... He also knows slime ball Geragos would love to take this case and that is probably why DP made the comment he made about needing or wanting a lawyer...he knows Geragos is listening.

I don't think that's a trick known only to cops because I've seen it make the rounds for years now. I think I first saw it from an interview with a convicted killer of where to hide dead bodies. Construction sites of new homes and Industrial buildings have also been brought up as well. Have seen both indicated as tricks of the mafia as well.

He can have a "free" lawyer .... they're called public defenders!

No not crazy at all. I just read about this being done too not long ago. Maybe it was somewhere here on websleuths.

If DP murdered Stacy, you can bet he had a plan. It wasn't something that just happened.
