Standoff at the Federal Building in Westwood

Oh it has been my extreme pleasure. This was one of the funniest live standoffs ever. In fact, I can't think of any other funny one.

I went searching tonight for other boards commenting and watching and they were hilarious too. One mentioned a new VW ad that Beetles are tear gas proof Laughed how the SWAT guys ran up and threw canisters and the RAN AWAY... wondering if the guy actually got out of the car they would all run! Just funny stuff.

Also found out the camera/pilot/chopper guy's name is Brett. It was open mic day on the chopper and he used colorful language and provocative comments and was so damn funny.

He might be out of a job tomorrow, but he's got an enourmous FAN club in the works. I am going to track Brett and see if maybe I can help with supporting him keeping his job. He did more for this event than any stuffy anchor.

Now the burning question is: what kind of battery did that black car have with the ever blinking blinker? Damn, that's a good battery. I'd buy one!

This entire thread has been hilarious! I was reading about it as it was happening at the beginning and got busy elsewhere. Came back to read and laughed until I couldn't!!!

I think all of you should be reporters! Everyone would watch and listen. A regular news reporter (except for Shep Smith) is blah, blah, blah. You guys put the 'action' in Action News!

Thanks! I needed this laugh. This was different than the sad news as there was no victim in sad circumstances. This guy was a one-man cowardly show! Gonna blow up the White house with the fireworks found at his home? Oh, man.
