NEW YORK - Star Jones Reynolds has landed her own daily talk show — and she won't have to worry about Barbara Walters this time. Court TV said Wednesday it had hired Reynolds to run a show about criminal justice issues that intersect with the pop culture world. The show, which has no title yet, will likely start early this fall.

Well, I am glad I don't get Court TV and even if I did, I wouldn't watch her show! I can't stand Starr Jones.

O/T (a little bit anyway). I tried to watch The View the other day, and I couldn't even make it through the first fifteen minutes. I can't stomach that show for some reason.

I'm with you....Court TV is my standby channel that is on when I have nothing specific I want to watch, but I refuse to watch Star Jones...just can't stand her!

I believe she used to have one (she was a prosecutor in NY I think) and that's where she got her first "exposure." I could look it up, but I like to stay as far away from Star Jones anyway I can. She scares me! :sick: Too much plastic surgery with that one...

When I saw Star the other day in the promos for the show. I was actually shocked.. I thought she looked horrible. Her hair was very light and short and scary! She looked so different to me. I am thinking she wasn't wearing her wigs anymore. As you can tell, I didn't like her look! :sick: :snooty:

--Star Jones was on Larry King tonite and I have to admit she looks great, new hairstyle, amazingly thin(think of a black Nicole Ritchie) and a slightly less arrogant attitude--Also wearing glasses to purvey the "new" serious look to promote her new CourtTV show--much less makeup too--I hardly recognize her--Anyway, I give her credit for undergoing that operation and losing 200 pounds--It couldn't have been easy

Me too, pedinurse. I have never heard anyone couch their sentences so carefully.....it's like everything is rehearsed to perfection..... & the flattery - gmab.

:dance: omygosh....that's what my daughter said....she looks like a muppet. Or maybe she said puppet. Star is a smart woman, I've always liked her. My only fault with her is that her head looks to big for her body.

I also think Starr looks great and very up to date. I had no idea she was an attorney. Must be very intelligent. If her show isn't about crime I probably won't be watching it though.

The thing that bothers me the most is that when she is speaking she pauses and takes a breath and she sounds like Darth Vader. Does she have a lung disorder? I used to think it was because she was so heavy but after losing all the weight, the annoying sound is still there.

Ziggy, you know what I do think she does honestly have a lung problem. Or something like that because she wears one of those garish necklaces to hide a trach scar. Note I wouldn't mind one of those garish necklaces. The black Nicole Richie image was the best. I thought, nope don't wanna picture that.

I really liked Star last night. She looked great; I think the short hair makes her look so much better, not as gaunt. I have to say that she has acted like a classy lady during the past year. Right after the View fiasco, she spoke a few times and I certainly didn't blame her. I thought she'd handled her exit very well, but BW was IMO, a total b*tch about it. Star had every right to tell her side of the story and after a few interviews, she's pretty much kept a low profile and hasn't dwelled on it in public. BW is IMO, NOT a nice woman. She comes across as a backstabber to me.

I plan to tune into her show and hope it does great.
