You're killing me!!! Gawd! LOL

Saying that BW was a hypocrite was kind of ballsy if you ask me. I hope BW takes the high road and doesn't respond to Mrs. "Big Al." Maybe, then she'll just fade away. I can hope right???

I surely did, but didn't want to say it for fear of being tossed. Whose going to pay for Al's spa treatments now?

They probably got a lifetime of those during the free wedding junket shows.

I guess she can always go to work for Darnay Hoffman defending child killers. Or maybe she can open her own law firm for chasing ambulances. Or she could take OJ on as a client since she likes him.:silenced:

Maybe Michael Jackson will hire her. :D

I think any job that offers her a never-ending opportunity to throw the "race card" words around would be to her liking. Well, that and endless freebies. If we can think of a job that combines the two, I think we'll have a winner for her!

I also noticed after she inferred that Barbara was a hypocrite that she returned the next day (after, no doubt, endless prayer and counseling) to say she would never denigrate her mentor BW. Cough cough. Too late, Star... the deed was done. BW has so much clout that she could probably stop Star in her tracks for years to come. Ahhh, such a lovely thought.

I think you just came up with her dream job! LOL

BrendaStar, yup, maybe MJ would hire her. Is he still in Bahrain? I haven't heard any news about the creep lately.

El creepo has been kicked out of Bahrain. He is traveling around Europe looking for a place to live. His kids nanny wants to marry him, 'cept she's already married!

Nope, you didn't misunderstand... that's what she said. But I guess her kazillion (ha!) fans have begged her to do differently. No doubt she "prayed" over the right decision to make on behalf of her "fans". Yuk. Double Yuk!
Then I hope she gets ban from every station.
She has totally lost her creditability...
Oh, she probably will say "I just changed my mind".
Hummm, reminds me of  someone......

I voted in the poll in 13th's post above. Barbara is winning.

I am really disappointed in Scarborough's interview last nite - seems all of them, including Joe, went out of their way to side with Star.

I thought, hmmm, wonder if MSNBC is going to hire her afterall.

Star Jones, Barbara Walters Battle Spreads to Internet

The battle between Star Jones and Barbara Walters just got dicier - and now it's spread to cyberspace.

Jones is advising her fans via her Web site, starjones.com, on how to protest her firing directly with ABC officials, including ex-boss Walters.

Jones' site was updated yesterday 'for the first time in months, with contact info, and a link to abc.com, on how fans can reach out and blast Walters, "View" executive producer Bill Geddie and ABC Daytime President Brian Frons directly.

Jones wrote that "several thousand visitors" to her site had requested the contact info.

She also posted a new message on the site, thanking her fans for "your words of encouragement while going through such a challenging few days."

Jones shocked ABC and Walters last Tuesday with her on-air announcement that she was leaving "The View" - pre-empting ABC's own plans to announce her departure.

The incident has created a rift between Jones and Walters, who said she felt "betrayed" by Jones.

"I must say that had it not been for all of your e-mails and letters, this past week would have been very difficult," Jones writes on her site.

Quick - somebody, I need a barf bag!

You know a REAL professional would step away gracefully~~~~

Why do they think anyone even gives a crap about any of this???? They're both acting like a couple of spoiled BRATS. How about a woman with four kids trying to work full time and put herself through school?? Why not deal with those REAL problems instead of this DIVA b.s.???

Maybe we should all take advantage of the info Star supplied on her home page to write the management of ABC to tell them how much we appreciate their decision to get rid of her! I never watched the View more than 5 times in the 9 years it was on, but I can sure fake my way thru a letter complimenting ABC on their decision.

Is Brandy replacing Star a sure thing? IMO, there are way better potential replacements than her. Nothing against Brandy, but she's not a good fit IMO. Neither is frickin Gloria Estefan IMO, whose name I keep hearing thrown in.

I'd rather see Gayle King or that lady that was on "Later Today" years ago...Asha Blake. Also maybe Debra Roberts, although IMO it probably would be a step back, career-wise. There are plenty of intelligent, articulate minority women that are out there that need a chance, maybe not someone who is "famous" on a big level yet.

Now that's the best idea yet!!!

Well, darn... I went to her website and nothing appeared but the word "success" in the upper left corner. Something must be wrong with it. Has anyone else tried in the last hour or so?

I agree, shopper. This new line up seems disconnected, like the execs are in control and are answering to what they think will attract a target audience for their advertisers rather than what will make a good show. Not surprising. Every time suits get involved, they screw up art, no matter the form.

I am pretty sure that Brandy is not a sure thing. I think she is just part of the rotation until they find someone permanent.
