I have a question about the gas cans. Both in Cal. and in Utah, she made 3 separate gas purchases at the same time--one for the car, one for two of the gas cans, and one for the third can. But why not do all 3 of the cans from the same purchase? Why did she split it up like that?

Me too! I cannot read JSS mind, but just watching her watch Jodi at times I can see, imo, distain and loathing toward her. JA has run the show and has run it ragged. I think JSS sees right through Jodi.

The real problem with all the tweets though is she's getting the attention she so desperately craves. The sooner she is in Perryville the better, but sentencing etc is going to take a couple of months isn't it?

This all really fits her personality though. All she can do is copy others.

I agree. Not only with tweets, but with anything. I personally don't get why her "artwork" is displayed here, let alone pictures of her. I know I certainly don't like to look at her AT ALL! uke:

In order to fill all three, she had to pay in different transactions, I believe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You're right, of course. And there are enormous barriers to effective treatment. In particular, when BPD ( the PD most amenable to treatment) is complicated by comorbidity--as it clearly is in JA, who is psychopathic, as well-- the odds of cooperating in long-term therapy are near-nil; the narcissism inherent in sociopathy/psychopathy leads the individual to believe others need the therapy--not them! Even if they do possess adequate insight to see that they are different (asmy personality-disordered husband did), this is often fleeting; the sheer effort required to make infinitesimal changes is too great to maintain long- term.

I agree. My ex is NPD. He entered therapy because he had to (long story) and enjoyed it only because he got to talk about his favorite subject--him. It didn't last long, though.

They would present aggravating factor(s), which has already been done, then mitigating testimony (would anyone speak on her behalf?), and then deliberate, right?

I agree, she needs the plug pulled on that spotlight she's enjoying. The worst punishment will be to completely ignore her.

I wasn't saying sentencing alone would last months - I meant weeks though, sorry and was referring to the whole thing including the final sentencing bit from JSS which I *believe* is 30-60 days afterwards.

I think Jodi savors the memory of killing him and has hated his memory more and more as this trial progresses. I have no doubt she blames him for her murderous actions and resulting criminal charges. She cannot kill him physically again, so she continues to kill him with her words and lies.

I could not agree more and that's one of the things that makes me sickest in this case!

I am looking forward to next week but I will not be able to watch Nurmi/JW do their closing, just don't want to hear the same string of trash talk for the umpteeth time. I am going to watch Juan do his closing, then ... Providing a guilty verdict, I will be able to watch Nurmi/JW closing at a later date.

I know that JA said she got a replacement phone after the Helio was reported stolen and I just assumed the replacement was another Helio and that is what she took the phones with on June 3rd. Does anyone know if she ever got another phone or she always had the original phone? I kind of thought if she had the original phone she would have deleted that sex tape but maybe not.

I'm very curious about this as well and I'm perplexed that the whole phone issue wasn't clarified. The whole case seems to be quite lean on IT-related investigation.

I'll have to see if I can find the link. The DT filed a motion to preclude lack of remorse from being considered. What amazed me was that the motion actually stated that JA does not ever intend to convey remorse, even if convicted. She will never admit guilt, even if found guilty, and will never show remorse. That says it all.
