Make me happy please tell me Dior will sue Jodi or tell her she can't sell any art basedon their copyrighted images!? Will they even bother to react?

Well for a start you have to assume someone actually bought it and I'm not convinced about that. When JA was selling things via ebay people were intentionally bumping the prices up to huge amounts and then refusing to pay. I know this is against the T&Cs of ebay but they took their chance ;)

If I understand correctly, I believe that deliberations go into Friday? Myself, I will be watching the Wild About Trials streaming on my smartphone. If traveling, I will hook it through my car stereo via Bluetooth. When technology works, it's awesome!!

I guess I'll be following along with WAT on Twitter, since I'll be out of town from the 5th until the 8th at a conference, so I will have some long days. I would love to be able to see the verdict live, but I just won't be able to since I'll be out of town. Even though I won't be able to read through the threads, I can't wait to get back home and read everything here!

I'm sure the reading of the verdict will be on youtube. I'm so looking forward to justice for Travis' family!!

I T A !!!!!

Completely delusional. She could have used a litany of defense strategies, but her personality and ego will not allow her to concede that she is a bad person.

Using another defense would force her to take responsibility, and she simply cannot do that. She even had 5 years to come up with a good story and couldn't do THAT!

No way she could allow herself to go there! I am glad she didn't because she deserves to pay, but from a defense standpoint it would have made sense. There is at least evidence to back up insanity. Everything she did could be used to support it. Handstands in the interogation room, smiling in her mug shot, calling Travis, sending flowers etc etc. But Jodi is Jodi and she would rather die than admit she ever did anything wrong or has less than 100% control of herself.

How long do you guys think JM' closing statement will last?
I need it to be A+'with the focus on premeditation (of course) but also using as much footage of Jodi as he can.

Tomorrow (Monday) we can say day after (Wednesday) we have court. Yay!

Justice for Travis is fast approaching. Here's hoping for an awesome closing by our one and only JM and a super quick murder 1 verdict.

I do not post much, but read all the time.

A lot of time has been wasted in this trial to obtain justice. Months and months, along with the years and years to even get here. And to me one of the most simple things a juror would think after all of this is something that's not talked about much.

If you stab someone in the back, it means they were not facing you. Why would you feel threatened, if you could stab so many times in the back and not run away?

The small amount of defense wound's on Travis tells another story. He was not able to fight back much.

The amount of injuries to Jodi were two little cuts underneath her fingers. Tells a story there to me. Doesn't matter which came first in the attack by this evil woman. She was not in any way threatened. No bruises, no cuts, no scrapes....and at any time she could have stopped.

The ME tells facts and so does the hallway (and wall) blood stains. Travis was trying to get away from the brutal attack. He was trying to escape from the horrendous monster with the deadly sharp knife...the one that she handled so well that she did not get one cut on herself other than her fingers. Travis was never able to even grab her arm or her hair or her hand. Not a fight as Jodi would like us to believe.

Just a horrific attack over and over with one intent. To finish him off. Coldly, with no thought of his life except to end it.

The coverup afterwards was a continuing of her eradicating her evil deed. And this jury will see the simplicity of this. The defense tried to spend months throwing everything against the wall in hopes they could confuse the jury.

Travis was a good man. He faced evil with no chance to fight. Jodi has fought five years and continues to fight right now...but, she will never escape a cell that is..... in her own words,....smaller than Travis's closet.

This is what happens when evil causes such unimaginable pain and fear to someone. Judgement day. That was a very sharp knife, there is no way she could have been fighting for her life while inflicting that many stab wounds. And that very sharp knife met no resistance and she never cut herself with it. Simple.
Such an excellent post! Thank you.

I don't think more than a couple of hours all together?

I hope JM uses lots of visuals with chronology and JA's words that she could never use a knife, that it would heinous, and that if she wanted to murder Travis that she would have made it painless.

Yes, I want footage of her saying what a great guy he was, how he helped her out and there was "no reason". I want footage of her lying to the detective without breaking a sweat about intruders coming in and killing TA. I want 48 hours footage of her saying the same thing. And I want JM to point out to the jury that even after she swore she was telling the truth, she LIED to them about the gas cans when she was on the stand.

I agree rose and I hope he slams the fog right out of her!:please:

You may not post very much, but you surely wrote a perfect summary to this overly lengthy case. GREAT post, and it states the obvious, cutting through all the nonsense spewed by the defense and their defendant.

I am praying for justice for Travis, and blessings for his dear family who've suffered through all this . . . they are remarkably brave, and my heart breaks for them, as it does for what Travis must have endured in those last few minutes of his life.

Thank you, ProtectOurKids! :seeya:

O/T

Just in from HLN:

Coverage of the Zimmerman trial to begin on HLN, Tuesday @ 9:00.
How are they going to show both JA trial and Zimmerman trial at the same time?
Is WS going to have a thread?

I'd have to politely disagree. Having a mental illness is by no means a defense. It's knowing right from wrong (and minimum IQ at sentencing). She clearly showed she knew what she did was wrong by trying to cleanup the crime scene then lying up and down. Borderlines STILL know right from wrong as do most PD's.

As far as lesser charge, JM has refused any/all plea deals, except M1. Good for him!!:twocents::twocents::twocents:

What's interesting about ALV's testimony that she "assumed" Travis was looking at 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 on the computer is the following: we all know, after watching JA on the stand for 18+ days, that she would not have said something fairly non-specific like "Travis was looking at 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 of little boys." JA is very descriptive and would have described the incident like she did on the stand -- walking into the bedroom, he's on the bed, has photos, one flutters to the floor. There is no way ALV was left with so little information about this ALLEGED turning point in JA's and Travis' relationship that she had to make assumptions. Also, if she is so technologically ignorant as she claims, it seems to me she would have assumed he was looking at magazines.

Agreed. No one who remembers everything in her life to the nth degree would have just left things openended. But, JA is not a good liar so there is a possibility that she left it out there to see what would happen. I mean, in her mind, the jury wasn't going to convict her anyway after they hear all the mean things TA did to her, this was a drop in the bucket. Besides, I think JA believes her lies she believes everyone else will. She found a couple expert witnesses that did, but my guess is she led them right straight to the conclusion she wanted them to find.

I think the lesser charge inclusion still has to be ruled on by the Judge. I see both sides...I don't want her to skate on a conviction of a lesser charge, but I know the all or nothing premise of M1 is worrisome to some folks....

Can you tell a not to techie person how to do this?

Thanks.

IF and that is one big IF, the judge stands firm on her "we stay until the witness is done" on Wednesday than I think we will have a verdict by then, at least on guilt.

ALV was on the stand for a week! I wonder what makes the Judge think the DT will have this one in and out in a day??

I want movie screen size pictures of all the wounds Travis had and just one of TA's dumb, broken finger. :stormingmad:

I wonder also if the DT only gave them portions, the stuff they wanted them to believe? Both should have clearly seen what they were given was biased.
