That's exactly what has always put me off about them. Travis seems like someone who had a large circle of friends and yet who pops up in every media outlet? The Hughs!

I think what's missing for me may be that 48 Hours Hughes interview. The most I'd heard of them was ALV saying they were disgusted or disappointed with TA's treatment of women.

I, too, think the money came from other sources. Why would she wait to get to Monterey to deposit money???? That makes no sense at all. It sounds almost as if they gave her money and maybe some of it were items from her home. That could be why DB and MM were so unwilling to talk. Just does not sound right that she would make three deposits. We know Paul Stern said he loaned her $300 and she did make one deposit for $300.

Arias was not there earlier in that day therefore, Travis did not let her in. She put those earlier photos-- of her in braids and Travis with KY-jelly (from April) on his camera from her camera.

She most likely did this after she sneaked through the back window (screen evidence #52) which happened to be his office window where his camera was located. He was probably sleeping because he told his roommate via phone that morning, he had been up all night.

I have little doubt that Arias sneaked up to Travis while in the shower and that was the beginning of the end.
There is no way that I will EVER think Travis invited her in that day. No way!

she's not admitting it she's trying to throw flores off by offering a bogus explaination for the pictures.

The picture she took of herself right before going to Walmart her hair is brown, no blond whatsoever. Her hair was blond the whole time she was in Mesa, never brown.

That said, I get a really good feeling from Deanna. It took such moxy for her to level her gaze on Nurmi and his pervy questions and answer them with painful (to her) truth and yet, grace.

ITA. How many times did the jury have to listen to Nurmi's "pervy questions" list? Via Jodi, DB, ALV, DrD, Deanna, and probably others I didn't see like Lisa and Mimi. I think Juan really thinks something ELSE might've happened but didn't want to throw out speculations.

I believe the Budget man might have looked at her drivers license (which he had to) and her blond hair was etched in his memory. He probably made a photo-copy to put in his files so when the police first contacted him, he remembered her through her photo license.

So the naked of Arias w/braids was taken before June 4th. As was the ones of Travis.
I think a lot of truth were in those interrogation tapes.

The fact that some photos weren't time-stamped is suspicious in itself and has never been addressed.

the videos and things i've read that were written by travis. he's not really arrogant but is kind of cocky. i'm sure part of that was a bit of a show, i've known people who act like that, they want to appear to be confident and sure of themselves in front of others. in his career he was expected to be a great motivational speaker. so he was learning to do that, he wasn't perfect he may have seemed full of himself sometimes, but over time he would have become more professional.

i'm sure jodi's 'worship' of him helped his ego. she really stroked it.

deep inside i think he may have been somewhat self conscious and over compensated. the fact that he did fall for jodi and her bs kinda shows a bit of that.

just my opinion.

I would bet that there are A LOT of salespeople who are cocky. I don't know what his exact title was in his job, but i know it required sales and also motivational speaking. Someone who isn't a little bit cocky, IMO, wouldn't advance as far as he did. He would have gotten far in any field which required speaking/sales, he seemed to be quite good at it.
Those kind of people need partners who generally have a less strong personality than they do. It would appear on the surface that Jodi fitted that type...but he got it wrong...she actually had a far stronger personality than he did, and worse she was passive-aggressive in their relationship. So he read her wrong. She however, read him right...his charisma, his kindness, his motivation, his ambition...she was drawn to all of it. No matter how cocky or whatever, by all accounts it seems like he was genuinely a kind person, and that combination is hard to find. She knew exactly the good qualities he had, and that's why she wanted him all to herself.

Yeah, that business about the email is disturbing. I've had friends who dated people I didn't care for, but it would have never occurred to me to send of an email about how poorly my friend treats those of the opposite sex.
I don't say this to be evocative, but somewhere in all that is someone very unhappy with their sex life and interjecting themself into that of others.

I learnt in my early 20's that if I didn't like one of my friends boyfriends, my best bet was to keep my mouth SHUT. As it seemed to me that if I made my objections known my friend would start defending him / the relationship etc and they would just stay together longer, she'd suddenly be out to prove the 'haters' wrong, or go on some rebellion trip, and use the guy to rebel.

Exactly, Taking pictures is the only thing that makes her a photographer. There is nothing professional about her picture taking.

She barely even talks about 'photography' and in fact when KN wants her to say photography/artist she says she wanted to be in Real Estate and was taking classes.
