I'm re-watching Juan's opening, and she takes in deep breath and does the lip licking thing.

I assumed I would get bored and never make it through the prosecution and defense's closing during FCA trial. I was glued to the screen. I can honestly say, I threw stuff at the TV when Baez was on there. Made me feel better.

Oh no they're showing the whole thing on HLN now and he does go over everything! I've been listening for more than a hour now and he's not finished yet, he's talking about Det.Flores asking Jodi how in hell she would've ended up on the 40? So yeah, he's talking about everything lol.

I hope they upload the whole thing to youtube.

I watched a bunch of the early trial over the weekend. There was a female blood tech from the PD that testified about these things. She said there was blood on and under the scale and said the bathmat had some blood drops on top, but had "wicked up" a large amount of blood into the felt-like bottom of the mat.

I was just listening to JM's opening statement on HLN. It just occurred to me, isn't it odd that Travis had a keyed lock on his bedroom door? I have never seen this on a bedroom door (not that I have visited a large sample of bedrooms!).

Maybe it's because he had roommates, just for security of his personal belongings...

It would be interesting to know if the keyed lock was on before he met JA or after.

I did see a picture of the scale in the crime scene file somewhere online. I think there were a few drops of blood under it. Meaning it had been moved.
Maybe someone has a link...

There's no doubt it was overkill.

With the overkill and premeditation, she will get DP.

Dr. Horn's testimony last Thursday, was a real eye opener to the sequence of events and how Jodi lied again.

I know there has been much debate whether the stabbings or gun shot to the head occurred first. I lean towards the stabbings occurring first.
I think JA deserves the DP because it was premeditated and also
she slit his throat while TA was still alive. It makes me physically sick to think of that. Whether TA was shot or stabbed first, his throat was slit while
he was still alive. He was no threat to her whether she stabbed him first or shot him first. She could have left, run to safety and called 911.

Every since last Thursday, this trial has really affected me and I am not sure I can see it to the end.

Just turned on HLN. JA's appearance has changed substantially. She has aged, lost weight and she looks an older version of herself in just 120 days or so.

JW would end up pausing alot, and she would lose the jury early imo.

Nurmi is the best one to do it, the lesser of the 2 evils.

It doesn't surprise me to hear that Nurmi is doing the closing argument. I hate to say it but I think he'll do a better job too. JW would end up putting up extracts from JA's diary saying "doesn't it say this ......." "doesn't it say that".
