@maryellenabc15
Media being told by court security #jodiarias testimony could last as late as 8pm tonight.

This totally amazes me. I can't believe the defense does not see that this jury is over this and that this witness is not going to make one bit of difference. If giving the defense credit, they at least have put on the best case possible, eliminating further appeal. It is still annoying and uncalled for, to say the least.

Can I get a link for the WAT live feed because mine is going nuts every 20 seconds. :scared:

Thanks to the State of Arizona!

Should public defenders not get paid?

Today may finally be the day that the judge gives JW an appropriate response:

JW: "May we approach?"

Judge: "NO. You may ask a proper question or sit down. This isn't law school and you've wasted enough of the court's time"

I think the only thing that's stopped JSS so far is the concern that jury might actually stand and applaud.

Lol! Funny but you know that would not be an appropriate response!

So basically he gets to re-interpret the test results in favor of the defense? For $300/hr? What a huge waste.

But didn't he say he's not getting paid for this? I mean if he was that would be very easy to determine.

Geffner asking JW how to use technology

If this guy is a regular expert witness, he's playing dumb and that's a total con job. He would know how courtroom tech. works.

So now the defense has put Dr. DeMarte on trial. Look how JW is gloating as she flaunts Dr. Geffner's qualifications. I'm thinking she has a personal bone to pick with Juan, some kind of grudge against him. She's a cutthroat and winning is all to her. Has nothing to do with justice, imo. The DT is at the opposite end of the spectrum from Juan. She and Nurmi are the villains in this, Juan is the hero. :hero:

IMO, it's totally about winning for her. Justice doesn't come into play in this case for wilmott and Nurmi.

What about people who bottle up all their aggressiveness then let it all out on one person in an incredibly brutal and violent attack??

PTSD .. here we go .. my guess he found it or he wouldn't be up there.

hypothesis = I did not examine or evaluate this person so I will hypothetically diagnose her via her test scores from others. BTW, I might find it necessary to rescore them. Some were already rescored? No matter, we are after all just talking hypothetically.

Somebody wake me when its done please

The jury itself has thrown out questions regarding Jodi's manipulations, controlling nature, and lying - repeatedly - through nearly every defense witness. Trying to sell them on anything other than what they've concluded for themselves isn't going to go anywhere.

I just don't get this defense. They could've 'owned' all of Jodi's maliciousness and made for a much better case. Gaslighting the jury, I believe, is going to be a major factor in her conviction. Not that I'm complaining, mind you, it just defies logic.

I feel like Groundhog Day. Wilmott has been over this same thing about 500 times in this trial. I'm sure she will start repeating all of the names Travis called Jodi in a minute. She loves doing that 500 times too.

Could someone/would someone post what is being said (the best they can)? I'm having trouble with my speakers this morning and can't hear.

Thanks so much!

Salem

I am so envious of you.

My hypothesis is that Jodi had an abusive relationship with herself! (Geez Jodi...you could of at least put on makeup etc...)....

But he didn't INTERVIEW JA! So what kind of hypothesis can he have about abuse and PTSD?????????

For me he was credible until this point. He is now superimposing a conclusion and pretending it's a hypothesis. That's really low.

This whole "abuse victim", PTSD, anxiety = more beating of that dead horse.

Can there be anything left of that dead horse by now??

"Healthy" and "Normal". Who would ever use these words in relation to JA.

"somebody, in a hypothetical, that might be, in this hypothesis...."

The juror will either have the same sort of questions they had for Samuels/ALV or just not bother asking any questions at all.

I thought this guy said that this test is NOT normally used to determine PTSD?
