I'm glad Juan has the lunch hour to speak to his own witness coming up. I'm sure he has some wonderful strategy. GO JUAN!!

In my experience with PTSD - usually there are flashbacks of the event that cause the trauma to be prolonged or relived throughout one's life.

I agree--with my PTSD, the most annoying symptom is the exaggerated startle response. I literally JUMP at normal sounds like a person setting a glass down a little hard, a door slamming, a sudden noise on TV and if it's a loud noise like a balloon popping, guns going off (like in a salute), etc., I look like I'm having a convulsion.

I also had intrusive thoughts of my little brother being severely beaten by my father--that was the most disturbing thing I've experienced. Thankfully, I've been able to let that one go by talking with my brother and telling him I am so sorry I didn't save him. He assured me that there was nothing I could have done--we were both children.

Jodi Arias is full of it. She's only suffering from being an evil beyotch with hideous genitalia. And face.

Hard to tell if she's staring down the jury or what because one can never be sure which eye is looking where.
I think she can look at the judge and jury at the same time.

Am I seeing things, but it looks like JA has new frames ??

That is exactly what I was thinking. Chris and Sky are letting out a lot of information of her scary bad behavior. She is really touchy about her "reputation" even now. She is so messed up.

Chris stated he will continue to talk until all of the stories are told.
To Jodi that is a lot like the time Travis said he was going to expose her to everyone. That would be right before she murdered him.

Jodi does not take kindly to someone talking about her. I am loving every minute of it becuase she is locked up and can't hurt anyone to make herself feel better. Not even Travis anymore, her story is done.

Can anyone direct me to where I can watch these episodes of Dr. Drew?

The back seats could be all different after lunch

LOL in picture 3 it looks like Grandma and the two men behind her are asleep! Guess it is pretty boring even if you are there!:floorlaugh:

Is wilmott gonna drone on alllllll day? I though she said today, that's it, done, zip it - finished.

I have no doubt JM will wrap it up in 20 minutes! Bring on closing arguments. I'm "almost" interested in hearing what Wilmott has to say.

MOO

Mel

Mel she probably will leave Juan with 20 minutes to spare....which IMO is all he needs.

Do we have any idea who is doing the closing args for the Defense? Ughh, both are so terrible.

LOL. This guy is testifying "for free" and so he feels he can say stuff like that? JW should not allow any of her witnesses to say ANYTHING about padding the bill considering that she and KN have deliberately dragged this hearing out to keep their paychecks rolling in... they know they won't be hired after this.

I thought he said he wasn't getting extra pay from the place he works...did I misunderstand that??

BINGO: I just worked out why Jodi is angry at the Jury. The judge probably told her DT that there is only so long we can be expected to put the jury out for, that originally they'd been told April 11 and it was dragging out too long, so surrebuttal limited to one day 'out of respect for the jury' that's why it's their fault and she's staring them down .. because if it was up to Jodi the trial would literally never end.

Thank God.

"Abbreviated" lunch at one hour and 15 minutes? Wow!! Big difference between that and normal.

Who thinks they'll be on time...? Hmmmm no one. Okay, carry on. Arghhhh!:maddening:

Me either. She isn't done trashing Dr. DeMarte, then she will supposedly use him to trash Dr. Horn. That could go until at least 5. Then JM's cross? Then jury questions, then follow-up? Even if they go late, I just don't see this ending today.

:notgood:

Do you really think JSS is going to allow a head shrinker to contest the training and knowledge of an actual medical Doc ? Seems like apples and oranges to me, what sort of hippo could this be ?

For me, you've summed up the entire batch of psychological testing - don't put me to death, because when I planned this thing, I thought he'd go down without a fight. I totally agree with you!

This defense is just too much for a reasonable mind to process.

I'm ready for a verdict.

No $hit. OK--she's stressed out from the killing being more work than she expected--Travis didn't stay sitting in the shower--he fought back and tried to escape. That freaked her out. Who gives an EF?

That was meant to be very demeaning towards Demarte. Wonder if he was told to say that. Not very professional from someone who has been named as a hired gun from a previous trial he testified in.

of course he was told to say that. JW made sure of that. she'll go down her little list of all the times dr. d. got her and she'll get him to make a dig about every one. that's how she is. she's HORRIBLE.

Oh, my! I just looked at some photos of Jodi that are posted upthread. She looks like death warmed over today

Beth K is reporting that there are questions in the jury basket.

I'm disappointed, but I hope it isn't an indication they are buying into this guy. Hopefully, they are asking him how he can know anything about Jodi without having interviewed her, and analyzing test that he deems outdated!

Wow! Judge Stephens is really cracking the whip! *sarcasm. Lunch is only reduced by 15 minutes when the jury might have to be there tonight until midnight? Me thinks anyone should be able to shovel food down their gullet in 30 minutes and get their hips back in their seats.

Not just the jury eating faster, but the lawyers, defendant, and others too!

Does anyone have a fork?

I personally like that the Judge is FINALLY making them take a shorter lunch. She's FINALLY making the defense stay within a time frame. They need to get this case to the jury. They are going to start loosing jurors.

This is what the DT is banking on..they dont have anything else. I bet JW drones on as loooong as she can. She will also be back after JMs cross. :banghead:

They are probably hoping she will get an acquittal if the jury wants to get it over bad enough and avoid the additional never ending penalty phase.
