Does anyone know what day trash is picked up in the Coopers' development?

Maja,

The mat in the driveway belonged to Nancy's SUV. It was in the driveway on 7/11/08, as seen by JA when she arrived at the house to meet with Nancy.

It is liklely he dumped things in a dumpster but not HT. Possibly some other trash enroute - even neighborhood trash cans that may have been out the morning in his travels. Wouldn't HT have a video camera behind store near receiving and/or trash areas as well?

It was revealed last week the HT dumpsters were NOT checked. It answered a question I had since 2008. Also had a question as to wether or not the drainage ditch was dragged. Still don't have an answer on it -- anyone know?

Right, I believe BC drove NC's body to dump site with her SUV.

Now..this is an area I am NOT up on at all..but wouldnt Brad's vehicle have a GPS onboard, that could give some sort of routes he took that moring?? I know they took his car into evidence on the 15th or was it 16th..but Anyone here up to date on those capabilities???

So - between the geologist, and now the entomologist - we're starting to see some hard / scientific evidence. And it's not looking like it was possible for Nancy to have been alive at the time she made the alleged phone calls.

I am also under the impression that the next few witnesses will continue to build toward a "beyond reasonable doubt" case. I am VERY hopeful we don't go backwards in the importance of witnesses and we continue to build toward a crescendo.

Then - it's interesting to see what the defense puts up.

His car did not have a built-in GPS and there has been no testimony that he owned a standalone GPS. His phone could have had GPS capabilities but we don't know about any of that (yet). FBI examined BC's phone & we'll have to wait for them to take the stand.

We still have the FBI to hear from about the phones- right????

I don't believe that this type of black box capability is turned on / available in vehicles the age of Brad's. They track 'events' and if the airbags deploy or some other sensors go off, they will store data immediately before - but the data is consistently overwritten.

Things like OnStar and other cellular type services can track more data.

I've kinda' been thinking HIS car. I mean, he DID spill gasoline in it! :banghead:

Reminds me of Peterson spilling gasoline on the brand, spankin' new fitted boat cover, that he'd placed in the yard building under garden equipment.

I believe that the water from the drainage pond on Brittabby was drained into the similar pond on the next cul-de-sac. I remember video footage taken from a helicopter of two men standing at the other pond looking at a hose or pipe that went through the woods.

Anybody else remember this?

I missed the testimony this morning. Thanks to all that posted notes.

Just a comment about the flies...One of the detectives testified that there was garbage in the garage. Pizza boxes, dirty diapers, etc. I suppose there could have been flies in the garage - alternate light source could have been the light in the garage?

According to BC, gas was spilled, right? Did LE find evidence of a gas spill? Was a gas container found @ Wallsburg? What was the gas for? Shop vac allegedly used to clean the gas (ignorant - doubtful) but never confiscated.

Testimony straight through until 4. Juror has to leave early.

  • #316
Is that Mr. Lister? He really shouldn't listen to this! :(

Not confident in time estimates.

  • #318
Wow, I thought it would take longer the defense longer than that.

Just from my listening to the deposition tapes, I got the impression that Brad mentioned the gas spillage more to cover his throwing away of things that normally 'would have been' in his trunk. That appeared to be when he focussed on in his questions/answers concerning the gas can/trunk/vacuum, etc. "Yes, my trunk is usually very full/cluttered/messy, so/but 'I had to throw everything out when the gas spilled, because it all got gasoline on it.'

Oh darn. Right off the bat........
The bug expert just said he didn't have much confidence in the way the bug evidence was collected and his data may not be 100 percent.
