I asked a question about the voice messages the other day, but I don't think anyone ever considered it.

For the spoofing to work, would it require a "clean" line? By clean, I mean one that goes straight to dial tone? Would a phone line that has the voice message "signal" (the beeps or whatever that most lines have if a voice message is waiting) interrupt a spoofing or transferring call?

Most of the methods they described would not. Cool thought.

No wonder NC was alerted and concerned when she heard weird noise on her telephone or had dropped calls. She had an idea of what was possible and maybe what BC was capable of doing.

It could go both ways. What if that was an embellishment? moo

I bet you I can simulate that type of call and make it stretch it 32 seconds.

I like how we have now officially defined how long certain conversations are supposed to take, as if that's in some sort of rule book for cell phone conversation lengths.

And those saying a 32 second call isn't a spoof call are merely speculating also.

I have to say they both liked to spend money. In his deposition, BC acknowledges that they both contributed to the debt. He took responsibility for his part in it. In fact, he appears to have put them on a budget which she disliked immensely and set him up for being called financially abusive to her. I don't find buying her the necklace was indicative of being abusive.

Hi again, cody ... didn't BC buy the necklace in '07? Well before he admitted to NC early '08 about the affair - which is when their relationship really went pear-shaped and downhill fast? The acrimonious atmosphere escalated after that. That's when the hectic financial issues really got heated - and BC became abusive, IMO.

I do agree with less0305 - BC didn't give a continental hoot about NC, but he sure as h*ck wanted that necklace back.

Just sayin ...

Guys - why are you making this personal and bickering? Please stop. Things are busy around here and we don't have time to sit in the thread and make sure you are civil to each other.

If you can not respond to a post intelligently without sniping - then don't respond. There is no rule that says you have to respond to every post. You are free to move right by it.

Thanks,

Salem

Wearing of the necklace all the time....might have been the same reason the important documents stayed locked in the car glove box.

I agree. The sad part about this is at this point we still have not moved beyond speculation on whether the call was spoofed or not.

I wonder what witness will not be recorded?

This witness has a hearing problem, I think. Retired FBI now doing contract work??

We'll see.......er, ah, no, I guess we won't!! Heck-a-roo.
