I am beginning to believe that Kurtz is playing for the cameras ...he could ask the questions more quickly...I would bet that his practice is more busier now than it was before this trial started

Those were pretty weak instructions, handling a phone in a murder investigation "just do what you have to do". No specific instructions whatsoever.

I have in my notes that he was reading his own email early on (9:00 p.m.)on the blackjack but he was on the computer 4x between 10:00 and 12:00

This morning's testimony by Det. Daniels indicated he was at the computer reading email that night--when CB said he was asleep with the girls.

Ooohhhh Good one!

BC NEVER looked LE in the eye and said, "I did not kill my wife."

Det said BC named himself as a suspect. LE NEVER said he was a POI or a suspect...during the early days.

fran

That may look good in movies, but I don't think that means much in real life. I don't believe based on JAs call to LE, the family rushing right to the police station after KL called and asked BC "what did you do to her" and proceeded to hang up the phone that LE didn't think of him as a POI nor Brad not thinking he would be accused if she did not turn up alive.

He's going to go over the same things he's gone over before regarding the BB. I don't see that he's going to get much with this witness. Det. Young was the witness to score those points and he already did. (I think Kurtz must have read here at lunch and realized he was going nowhere so now he's gone back to one piece where he was able to make the investigators look really bad.)

I agree, he already beat Det. Young like a drum over this (successfully too, I might add). It was done, it was a screwup, lets move on.

Defense asks Det. Daniels why his team dragged lake, did K9 search, etc, but didn't try to get into Nancy's cellphone early on. #coopertrial

I hope you are right.

Does that time out thingie on the feed occur on 15 minute cycles, as in 12:00 then 12:15? Mine just needed to be reset and it was exactly at 12:00. Jiggling the mousie doesn't prevent the renewal request.

Open up the live feed by doing a search in WRAL on Brad Cooper Live Feed, and don't bring it up on the news story, it has not been timing out for me that way.

No way. The state wasted DAYS on pointless "evidence" that showed nothing. Why does everyone hear feel that was okay, but the defense should rush? This is important.

I still believe that Brad rigged Nancy phone ..so that it would delete if accessed

sounds like they may have found evidence on Nancy's cell phone

Blackberry phones delete all data after 10 unsuccessful login attempts. This is what Det. Young did.

With all the cleaning, house and computers included, I'm sorta surprised BC didn't wipe her phone before it got to CPD.

Det. Daniels: We put Nancy's cellphone in a locked police drawer. We were focused on other things to find her at that time. #coopertrial

I disagree. It's further confirmation of how incompetent CPD is and the jury needs to know this.

This trial has made me decide that I would never hire him for anything. No way jurors like Kurtz.

Det. Daniels: Brad said Nancy had stain on her dress on July 11. I think there might've been a stain from where he choked her. #coopertrial

But forensics said it didn't appear washed.

we just want him to talk like he is talking to an adult...not a child...he talks so freaking slow

I respectively disagree as we are unaware if there may have been others suspects because LE failed to look beyond BC.

I guess you are right.
There could have been an accomplice, but I doubt it.:)

Yes, it seems the fact that JA knew NC was dead three days before the body was found should have sent up huge red flags. She was never investigated. Why?

Now that indeed would have been prescient since Nancy was missing a bit over 2 days before her body was found. You must have that confused with B.C. He's the one who knew Nancy was going to be dead 3 days before her body was found, and a full 12+ hrs before he murdered her. JA was not involved; I think it's time to stop flogging that dead horse of a rumor.

maybe because she called Police to report Nancy missing and Brad didn't

Nancy's parents arrived in Raliegh Monday, July 14. Their daughter had been missing approximately 48 hours at that point. Where else would you expect them to "rush" to other than the police station?
