Search party found black tshirt along tree line back of baseball field. Make that a tank top.

Defense objects to chain of custody and over ruled.

IMO, witness looks about 16 yrs old.

Witness noticed tear and some hairs on tank top.

K9 used at tank top scene and released.

No cross ? I had to leave for a minute.

Next witness CPD Juvenile Officer <didn't catch her name>.

Went to Java Jive and helped coordinate search.

He asked what brand the t-shirt (tank top) is. She looked again and answered, "Fruit of the Loom".

Had never seen a search of that scope.

Heard that a shoe had been located.

Returned to Java Jive that afternoon.
Tuesday after body had been located she went to that neighborhood to knock on doors.

Went to approx 45 houses, Tues and Thurs.

Map of houses visited entered into evidence.

Followed Brad on Weds starting approx 7:30 to residence in Raleigh. Unmarked car.
Very obvious he was being followed...
Scott was with Brad.
Brad left girls w/Scott, then went to Raleigh.
Later that day he went back to residence <scotts>. Saw Brad, Scott, children and two women.

Brad was driving a red van to cart the kids around to Scott's house. Weird.

I'm assuming the Scott in question is the husband of Heather Metour?

Emergency child custody order July 16th, she stood by.
