I totally understand the prosecution needs to lay the foundation for explaining evidence later, but I can't remember a single trial where I have seen the prosecution so painstakenly lay out everything they DID NOT find.

We have Slow and Slower now--let's hope for some revealing insights or this is gonna be another L-O-N-G afternoon.

I guess, on the positive side, when the video buffers we don't miss much!! :great:

So is this it for the crime lab (as far as physical evidence)?

  • #165
They asked him a year later to re test.

I wonder if Colon Willoughby, the Wake County District Attorney, is following this trial as closely as we are? I would love to be a fly on his office wall. If this ends badly for the prosecution--especially with all of this non-evidence--I imagine somebody's butt is going to get reamed.

where's the meat????????????

There were no fibers (from BC's trunk liner) found on the sheets that were wrapped around NC body. There is no linking fiber evidence that the body was in the trunk.

I don't think that's buffering today. I think the camera is turning itself off bc it thinks nothing is going on, due to long periods of silence and inactivity:/

They must not have much. They asked him a year later to re test the sheets!!

Me either. :(

Damn, the buffering has hit down east. :(

It's noon--everyone's hitting the site at lunch, I guess.

The *hair* from the interior trunk area. It was a hair, found wound in a wire cutter, found in Scott Peterson's boat, that helped nail it for him. Damn, just reported the item in this case was a fiber, not a hair. :(

  • #174
Did witness just testify that it WAS NOT a hair but a fiber found on the trunk lid??? My feed was buffering!!

  • #175
Correct, the hair was a fiber.

  • #176
So, a trunk fiber was found in the trunk. Wow.

  • #177
Fiber tested to see if it came from the sports bra Nancy was wearing or the trunk mat or trunk liner. Microscopic analysis says fiber originated from the trunk mat, not the sports bra or the spare tire cover.

  • #178
The fiber originated from the trunk mat.

a trunk fiber on the bra??
