I had to put the audio on mute. I cannot stand listening to Kurtz' high-pitched questioning.

  • #122
Kurtz asked "wouldn't it be helpful if a video was made" of the cell phone examination.

State objected. Judge sustained.

lol.. He's getting a little nuts.

Ok woah I just got confused. We again left the phone and jumped to the thinkpad.

why can't this dude just ask a question???

If K could ask a normal question that has a question mark after it, if written, he could obtain better answers... Gee, I wonder if he knows that??? :waitasec: He makes a statement, then looks at witness and expects an answer. Zellinger & de Judge aren't letting him do that. The judge is getting a scosh tired of it...

Hahaha. Love the phone books. Did he get those from the court house 5 minutes ago?

Was Kurtz saying the document showed the thinkpad being transferred to the FBI on 2 separate dates?

Exactly. That's what was driving me nuts. And he kept doing it! Even after the objections were sustained.

FWIW, I don't know if there's evidence on these phones and computers or not. But the job of the def attorney is to put 'reasonable doubt' as to the suspect's possible guilt.

Attack the law (usually done pre-trial)

Attack the evidence

Attack the witness.

The def seems to be keeping by the normal def tactic play-book.

There has not been any testimony in this trial regarding the connection between JP and NC that I have seen or heard.

I would imagine that wouldn't come out in the States case...however, I believe JA did confirm some of it.

In other words, HE is testifying. That drives me nuts. ASK a question - don't make a statement.

Yes...3 days apart. But the witness said that shouldn't happen.

I do. I remember a little sleuth-crush on detective Jim Young.

Has it ever been asked if Brad Cooper is color blind?

  • #139
So according to JY testimony D. Duncan is the one who said NC was wearing a black desk and flip flops.

My husband would not know the difference between blue, green, or teal when it comes to a print dress. Nor would he probably remember it had a print.
