I do. I remember a little sleuth-crush on detective Jim Young.

heh. Not actually, though I did think he's cute. But he's off my pretend-lawnboy list! His erasing the the BB has made me .

Flip Flops located under foyer table confirmed by BC, & the Duncans to be the ones worn by NC the night of the party.

Now CPD begins looking for Blue or Black dress with thin straps.

Did he say that BC left him and the other detective alone in the house (or room)?

Yes he said he thought they were alone. I am getting confused as to the timeline in his testimony though.

So according to JY testimony D. Duncan is the one who said NC was wearing a black desk and flip flops.

I could be mistaken, but didn't DD testify that Brad came to them and asked if they could help search for the *black* dress that Nancy had been wearing at the party the previous night?

My husband would not know the difference between blue, green, or teal when it comes to a print dress. Nor would he probably remember it had a print.

Agreed. My husband is color blind and would have called the dress blue or grey.

Yes, Brad specifically asked DD to help him look for the 'black' dress.

Hummmm, it might just be me, but I would think if I saw someone wearing a black desk it would stand out in my memory. :innocent:

So JY provided the shoe to the K9 detective, not BC. JY specifically asked for a running shoe. All that discussion on here about BC trying to throw off the dog because he didn't provide a flip flop, and it was the detective that asked for a running shoe.

Yep, yet DD didn't question it when Brad said black...and thought she remembered her wearing a black dress as well.

Just reporting what JY is testifying to. He said Brad told him the dress was blue and he heard DD say the dress was black. Nobody on this day apparently mentioned green nor print.

DD spent more time with NC on the 11th than BC did. Also, she's a woman...you women notice and remember that type of stuff (said jokingly as I duck). My wife still pulls that stuff on me. She'll pull out a baby outfit that was given to my 8 year old when she was a baby and ask me questions assuming I remember who gave it to us, all the times she wore it, etc. I couldn't tell you what my wife is wearing right now, and she's downstairs.

Assuming they're on a lunch break now. How long does it usually last?

I'm ashamed to admit this, but I always worried that my kids would become missing and they would say, "What was she wearing?" - and I'd stand there with the dumbest look on my face. I wouldn't have a clue 99.9% of the time. I just don't retain that info. Heck, I can't remember what I wore to work yesterday!!! I put every thing in the laundry as soon as it comes off because if I didn't, there would be better than a slim chance I'd wear the same outfit two days in a row. I almost give a pass to BC on this one (even tho I'm sure he had a sneaky reason for saying black when it was really green print) because I'm so darn bad at this same thing.

I find it telling that he said, with great confidence, that Nancy was wearing a 'blue' sundress to JA Young, but showed up at DD's front door asking for her help to located the 'black' dress. VERY.TELLING.

I feel like he may have shown up at the Duncans and asked for help finding the dress NC wore that night and DD said the dress wasn't blue it was black when they were in the house. As she remembered it the dress was black so she said he asked to find the black dress.
