I'm pretty sure it was on 7/12 and I don't think they were mentioning the organic milk since he told them that he had purchased it that morning. I honestly don't know. I would have to go back and look. I just know that they mentioned they had the lactose free milk for Nancy and the skim milk that Brad said he bought for himself while the girls were out of town.

That's a lot of milk drinking then. I'd think the kids would be sick to their stomachs if they drank an entire carton (regardless of 1/2 gallon or gallon size) of milk in less than a day. ????

The murderer always misses something though, don't they? In cases like this, they always find evidence. I can't believe they ignored the shop vac after learning how clean the trunk was. Does that make any sense?

CPD not checking the shop vac was stupid indeed.
Perhaps Brad emptied it out that Saturday anyway (likely)

Well of course you need something else. It wont just be he made a bunch of suspicious calls. They will need to show he likely spoofed the 6:40 call. That is the one that counts.

The computer evidence scares the crap out of Kurtz.
I'm thinking that will be very powerful evidence showing guilt.

We already know what it is, right? It's that BC was intercepting/copying all of her emails. Three came in on the 11th. There is record that the last was read at 10:30, I believe and I know one of them was from her lawyer. I guess we will find out the specifics of those email messages.

Sorry. I wasn't clear. I meant that I think they just didn't mention that there was the HT organic milk in the refrigerator because he had told them that he had purchased it the morning of 7/12.

Emptied it where? That would have had to be very well hidden, buried even. And unless he cleaned the inside of it out, traces of whatever he vacuumed out should have still been inside.

Boy howdy, at least we can process here. I couldn't imagine being a juror and having to internalize this and try my hardest NOT to think about it all all from 1PM Friday-9:30AM Monday.

Was thinking of two things earlier:
1) Do you think the defense is keeping the jury gender imbalance as an arrow in his quiver? (10 females to 2 males).

2) The Grand Jury evidently heard/saw something(s) leading them to believe a 1st degree murder charge is/was warranted.

I don't know what it is. For some time I thought that she was found with only one earring because that was all that was mentioned in the autopsy report. We found out that they recovered the other one at the scene. From my perspective, we only *THINK* we know what the computer evidence is.

Interesting. Maybe he threw it in the trash at HT and never went back to the house at all. Except the change of shoes...

We have no idea what they have.
If you listen to Kurtz, he implied someone hacked into Brad's network or the CPD did something sinister with the data. Look for something really big....not Nancy's e-mail messages. (imo)

I sort of feel like the extra "worry" about the thinkpad is a ploy to take focus off the other computers.

Maybe. Brad's admission of working on the computer seems normal. His admission of doing google searches seemed a bit out of the ordinary. I got the impression that the prosecution has also been focusing on the secure transfer of the Thinkpad as well.

See, I think that IS pretty big. For starters, it means he was lying about sleeping through if he was up checking email at 10:30,secondly it does show some controlling behavior, and third, the content of the email *could* have set him off. That could be their proof of motive (possibly).

We'll see.

I don't think she woke up at 4am.

BC just needed to turn the lights on and finish things up -- BC had to get the garage clean and that body into the trunk. But I don't think we'll ever know -- BC is the only one who does, and he will never tell us.

I completely agree with you, that's why I don't buy this emergency trip to the grocery store for milk. As somebody else said, Brad didn't even know what his kids had for breakfast when asked by LE. I think Brad had to have an excuse for all the lights on in the house, all the activity, in case anyone noticed it. As for dumping the body, sure, it's risky to start cars, open garage doors, etc., but if you've got a body to rid yourself of, you've got to take the chance.

But this is about your "feelings", not proof of anything. The story is believable. My 6 year old still wakes in the middle of the night, especially if he is sick and sometimes we are up for hours trying to deal with coughing, fever and making him comfortable.

Absolutely, you are right about that -- we've all been there. I remember a 2:30am panic with our first & only. 105 degree fever, just howling, and our lights went on -- oh, yes, whew. It is worse with two, I'm sure!

I just think that on this night it wasn't a child's problem -- it was her daddy's.

BC just needed the lights on and told LEO's a detailed but false scenario -- baby crying, no milk, no green juice, no detergent, no clean clothes -- she's doing laundry/I'm doing laundry, NC to run with Carrie (but forgot to wear her shoes or to meet her in the car or to take the keys which she always took with her) and now he's got to sit there and watch them punch holes in that story.

I see him letting NC, if she is still there and able, take care of the crying children. That was her job and I feel sure he would have waited for her to do it IF she were still breathing & able. But she probably couldn't hear that poor little girl since Mommy was in the trunk in the garage. On this night it was different. JMO.

1- I think having 10 women helps the state more
2- GJ only needed probable cause to indict, so you can't put much stock in that one way or another.

Not saying that was not there too and part of the evidence or to show motive.
I just think there is a lot more than that.....

I guess it just doesn't make sense to me that anything that nefarious would be found on the thinkpad. Why would he meticulously clean up everything but the history on his laptop.

Why would he use his work laptop that would have been backed up most likely nightly, and could be easily accessed by corporate IT, to do anything that could be considered out of the ordinary or suspicious when he had another laptop that these things could be done on without creating undue notice or trails?

I'm not sure he would have been thinking that anything he was doing would be considered nefarious. I agree it doesn't seem to make sense but the phone business doesn't seem to make sense either since that's supposed to be his area of expertise. Maybe he thought he was above suspicion? I'm interested to see the evidence.

I think the necklace is a non-issue. If it was broken, I believe it would have been introduced by now.

But IIRC, it was found in his desk at home -- but I certainly could have that part wrong.

I'm not believing anything about where it was found until it is introduced into evidence. (No offense to you. I just feel like I've been misled too many times in this trial.)
