Oh wait just a minute.

That's ANOTHER thing that was inconsistent with how Nancy was when she was running.

When her body was found her hair was not tied back, not in a ponytail, no ponytail holder found, and there was no ballcap either!

Add these to the list of 'souvenirs' the Hawaiian/Mexican/Mormon/DrugCartel/WiFiStealing/VanDriving/ConstructionCanibals took, along with her 2 left shoes, shorts, socks, and Tshirt.

Ohhhh SG..I swear we are on the same wavelength :floorlaugh:

:floorlaugh:

Dressed only in a red & black sports bra, no less.

Yeah, don't you really hate it when you forget to put on your undies and your pants/shorts and go running in Lochmere? Sux for me...

Well the laugh of the day was finding out that Brad's Mommy had his cell phone tucked away in her purse!

Shades of Jeffrey MacDonald & his mom ..... if anyone else is old enough to remember that one...

Maybe he let her borrow it while they were in town? If he wanted to hide it, don't you think he would have smashed it and pitched it in a dumpster?

Sooooo...

let's see.

We have:

- Brad lying about cell phone call log/ability to access
- Brad not mentioning his trip to Lowe's and instead saying his wife/daughters made him late for work
- Brad not mentioning the additional calls on his cell phone
- Brad placing himself at home when the 2 calls from HOME to BC cell were made
- Brad's disappearing shoes that were seen on video 7/11/08
- Brad wearing different shoes, 17 min apart, at Harris Teeter
- Brad wearing winter type pullover zipped all the way up in 70 degree humid July weather (and sweating/wiping his forehead).
- Nancy's missing running shoes (two LEFT shoes from different pairs were missing)
- Brad's cell phone in Mommy's purse after he was arrested

Where is it shown her hair wasn't pulled back? Is it in the autopsy report?

  • #487
Bet Brad is pizzed he produced the necklace from the house and left the earrings in her ears. If he disposed of both, it might have been more believable she was abducted by Kurt's van of Hispanics. All these little things that just don't add up....how many now?

  • #488
Speaking of shoes, I can't believe they didn't stress Brad's missing shoes more.
Even if it was a Canadian custom, the fact that they disappeared in thin air is huge.

BTW, if they existed, Kurtz would have produced them long ago.
But wait, we may see a Perry Mason moment like Rudolf in the Mike Peterson trial finding the long lost blowpoke:laugh:

Yeah, JTF, that bothers me, too. What? Shoes too muddy? Maybe I'm getting befogged, but why did he make that 2nd trip? (Forget to dump a bag of garbage?) And did he go home in between??

Announcement: I have given in to the call of the wild...errr...the call for 4G and have placed an order for a smartphone and data plan.

I couldn't take it anymore.

<NCSU95, don't faint>.

It is so helpful! I was listening to the trial on my iPhone while grocery shopping today. I will say I felt a little self-conscious using my phone while shopping.

testimony from the scene of her body dump.

Yeah..didnt we hear a description of her hair being all discheveled..and someone having their hand caught up in her hair, turning her head noting that earring in her right ear??..I remember that testimoy :maddening:

If NC's hair had been pulled back in a ponytail or if there had been a ponytail holder somewhere in her hair, the M.E. would have noted it in the report.

The ONLY items on any part of her body were

1. the rolled under jog bra
2. one diamond earring

Nothing else.

I'm thinking the video of the car, passing in front of the Harris Teeter windows, maybe differs from the route Brad claimed he took on the depostion videos. And now again, in the depostion Brad claims to have returned home, spoke with Nancy, she was PO'd that they didn't have detergent, so Brad, like a beaten dog, hung his head, changed his shoes, searched for his phone, and *drug* himself back out to his car to return to harris teeter again. :(

Again, the Model Husband & Father (er, except for leaving those little ones by themselves ....). Desperate measures for desperate times, I'll say...

The autopsy report lists an earring and a halter top as the items from the body that went into evidence. I would think if she came in with some type of hair band it would have been listed also.

A muggy July morning, I'm beginning to perspire just thinking about it. :(

Brad did -- sweat, that is. It was noted in testimony...

The hispanics took the hair band too.
For some odd reason they didn't like diamonds or spandex bras.:waitasec:

I am sure the photo's from the scene ( Construction Site) of Nancy were taken and shown to the jury..we just have not seen them..but her appearance and state of dress would have been brought in as evidence..so the jury would have seen them:maddening:

But didn't photograph them. I guess I don't understand your point. Are you suggesting he wore a pullover in the morning to the store because he was afraid of marks on his necks, yet wasn't afraid of those in the afternoon when talking to the police?

IDK, but I think it was his creepy-crawly (a la Manson) dump-the-body ensemble....

It is possible that he helped with the kids on Friday morning then stopped at Lowes on the way to work. That would not make it a lie. I do believe he lied about knowing how to access his call logs. I'm not sure why wearing 2 different shoes 17 minutes apart is a big deal. It's not like he disposed of the body during those 17 minutes. So if he had something on his shoes, it would have been there for the first trip already. I'm also not convinced those shoes disappeared. There was 1 vague statement by the prosecution and witness about not getting those shoes. I'm sure the defense will ask questions regarding the search for those shoes.

And why does a quick swipe of the forehead mean he was sweating? His forehead could have itched or it could have been a nat.

I was thinking maybe he handed it to her as he was being arrested. Det. Young says he went over what Brad would be allowed to have in prison. Of course, not sure why she would put it in her purse (since he was arrested at his house) unless she was using it in his absence.
