The biggest thing I took from that explanation about the phone was he probably shouldn't had been the one to try to access the data, since he didn't have the expertise.

LOLOL @ "Det. McDreamy"

I can tell you he is not friendly to people he does not know. Ditto Dismukes. Det. Daniels, by contrast, is a pleasant person.

Hummm Det. McDreamy is going thru the sequence of trying to unlock Nancy's Celly..Seems someone altered things and no puck-code was ever asked for? Hummm and that code was sent to him from AT&T..Interesting..Did or didnot Brad sabotage that phone?? Who knows..but her phone did not act like a manufactured Blackberry Pearl ..

When I look up BB and PUK code, it seems as if the PUK code is useful when the PIN # has been entered incorrectly and the phone locked from that. All accounts of entering a password incorrectly (not PIN) 10 times on a BB appear that the BB behaved normally, thus wiping the data.

Granted, other than having owned a BB, I used the password once and then disabled it. I don't ever recall being asked for the PIN # on my BB, but it was visible when my BB was plugged into my computer.

Random Observation:

Just an observation, since I've been thinking this all along while watching young Young -- he is so patient and well-spoken [other than a few rare subject & verb disagreements (I'm and English major)], I don't think the ADA could have had a better detective. I am increasingly impressed by the minute by this young hunky man.

Further, I think the Judge might have given Kurtz a few less "overrules" if Kurtz had not made such a stink about the ineptitude of the CPD (and, yes, it's not over yet...). The Judge may be giving just one more inch of latitude to the ADA's. Atty. K. may have shot himself in the foot here, IMHO. We'll see...

I didn't notice any other red & black sports bras in those photos.

Yes, he appears to be a good witness. Not argumentative or defensive. Has a nice voice. I'm sure he's professional and polite to people he needs to speak to. But, from personal experience, he is not friendly if he doesn't know you--not one little bit. That removes any dreaminess.

I see him as a "cop's cop".

Today is another day I wish court ran until 10:00 p.m. I could watch this 24 hours a day at this point. I think we finally caught another gear.

I think if this is true, it is extremely unethical behavior for a judge who is supposed to be impartial.

I think CPD's incompetence has been clearly shown, and the defense hasn't even made their case yet.

Oh Lord, there's a hole in the side of the box. Mr. Kurtz will have a basketful of kitty cats over that when it's his turn.

I think the comps etc have to be brought into evidence before the experts can testify about any data etc

Yes, they have to show proper chain of evidence, where/how found, etc., etc.

Yes. The search was conducted 2 days after his arrest (arrested 10/27, search 10/29)
