That makes absolutely no sense. Then what is the point in putting up flyers? I could see that being an argument days or weeks later, but this was the next day. So the flyer basically says missing, have you seen me. Someone that saw her says I saw her and then recognized her face on the flyer. So now she is not credible because she saw the flyer?

I think it'd be highly irresponsible of the defence to at least not try and get her to testify.

While I will agree that this is the claim of the defense we are still left to ponder why this call did not appear on the billing record. If the call was answered it would have surely been a billable call. Instead, we only see this call on the detailed records which indicate to me that the call was not answered yet it had a duration of 23 seconds.

I'm so confused by all of this. If the call wasn't answered, but had a duration of 23 seconds, does that mean it rang for 23 seconds?
