Agree but was looking for an actual prosecution witness who could put these words in front of the jury (if they were actually said). Think this would be powerful testimony - if it did happen. If not an interesting avenue for the defense.

The only person who could testify to this (for the state) would be technically HM, but I get the feeling they are not going to go down that road.

Now that I think about it I agree with what BR said, the french girl was a fling that he probably considered if he wanted to take to the next level.

Funny, in my mind I think of her as the "wannabe witness".

Yesterday around 4:45 I was driving through Lochmere and lo and behold, Nancy's twin was jogging on the sidewalk. Tall, thin, ball cap, brown pony tail. Face very similar shape. (red shorts/red print top)

I've always wondered if the wannabe witness has something in her background that makes them sure she's not reliable?

I wonder if she was out jogging 7/12?

Defense: Were there wildly erratic time stamps? FBI agent: Not that I noticed. Defense: From year 2300? FBI: Not that I recall.

More likely a time stamp of 2300. (11:00pm).

So Nancy already had an established bank account?

I'd be willing to bet that BC was a joint owner on her account, especially since this account was opened in or before 2006.

Can order transcripts from court after trial over. 60-90 day turnaround. RT @Fromageball: any way to get testimony transcripts? #coopertrial

Just curious why do we have to use initials in this blog ..when names of everyone involved is all over the news and TV news

Hi Palomine. I'm not anal or anything nearly so - trulo my 2 cents worth:

I've been around W/S since 29/30 Dec 2002, after Laci went "missing". By then, W/S was already "a given".

Most know me for my wacky posts! LOL. Can't change - I wave the white flag!

However, back then, W/S had already garnered much respect from all walks of life ... thru cases such as Jon Benet Ramsay, Martha/Michael; Worthington - and so forth. The integrity of Websleuths increased over time.

Whereas many other sites allow "the full Monty" to be revealed, I believe (and I'm NO moderator and nor do I have any "inside info") ... that W/S aim is to keep up the recognition of this site: for victims, their families and for justice,

In so doing and by reserving the right to pre (grrr, there's that lil prefix again, Kurtz) ... to PREclude identification, especially while In-Trial ... and more especially to protect and preserve the rights and sanctity of children .... this keeps W/s in a most dignified, respectful and reliable resource.

I could be a zillion galaxies off-track. Just my take. Hence so many members are here and .... it's exactly why W/S, IMO, is one of the more trusted sleuthin webbies on the www!

I LOVE it here. Can spend months or years watchin or lurkin w/out postin and still feel part of the family. Satisfies my appetite for justice! Having said that, it's true my own knuckles have been rapped upon once or twice, lol!

In short: if you're gonna ride in a Bentley Limo - why wear beach clothes? Go for champagne and enjoy it! LOL!

If this is too long, pm me - will delete.

Why is it funny that he logged into an old checking account?

Thanks. All the witnesses are innocent though, right? If we say something like Diana D. testified to such and such,' is that banned? I'm just trying to understand, because I admit, my mind gets very confused at all the initials, especially in this trial. There are so many initials, and I'm not good with names to begin with. :( I still can't think of the name of the person, the sight witness, being discussed right now, but I have caught on to what the discussion is about anyway. As we age, it gets harder and harder to remember stuff. :banghead:

The TOS only mentions family members of the victims. It doesn't say this for other witnesses.

Posters should consider themselves lucky..being able to follow trials
the trial I am following out of Edmonton...had a 4 day break after defense rested
Both gave closing..then trial over early in the day
the judge just gave instructions.....Just too much down time
If there is a Justice God ...maybe Canada will get cameras in the courtroom before I die

I interpreted the France relocation subject as just sweet talkin' to his mistress. I can't imagine he really was putting a lot of thought into it? He was a player.

I think he was more *smitten* with ms france though. He started learning to speak french, attempting to play the guitar, sing...... Ah, the romance of France....side-walk cafe's, mountain climbing, the language of love.... :loser:

So, the defense takes the stance that someone is smart enough to either hack into the network and take over the computer, and/or the LE technical folks have tampered with the computer(s), but are NOT smart enough not to notice that they have set the dates to 289 YEARS in the future.... Humph, OK.

Or could it be that someone on the defense was looking at a 24 hour time stamp and did not understand it?

Not sure.... Maybe this is one of those time quandries, like going back in time and killing your grandfather. Maybe the computer is FROM the FUTURE!

Or not....

CyberPro!

You post so seldom.

But . ..when you do ........ you floor me and perhaps many ... with your logic.

THANK YOU for the above!

Well that certainly is unfair. She reported this while Nancy was still missing. I don't think she was looking for her 15 minutes of fame.

No, court reporter documents everything. RT @qsopht: I guess non-recorded testimony will still be redacted in a transcript? #coopertrial

Or it could have been an account for one of the children. It was stated that there was/were savings accounts of under $300 for at least the eldest child. When my girls were babies, I opened accounts for them in their ss #'s, but I was 'custodian' IIRC.

IMO, I would think this lady believed she saw NC that morning. Now, whether she did or not, I do not know.

We can only go off of what was testified to (and relayed via twitter). The agent said it was NC's account, not the children's.

And if it wasn't NC, who was it and why wasn't anyone looking for *that* female runner in order to corroborate the witness's story? And by the way - whoever that person was hasn't come forward even after this story exploded all over the local news. I'll let you draw your own conclusions why.

It's very easy to torch someone's reputation when they are not on your 'side'.

gracie! Stop it! You're transporting me straight back to Scott P and those "cobbled stones under the Eiffel Tower..." days. Me thinks we're going to find out BC was ... maybe a little bit MORE in touch with Mz French College Escapade than has been made known to date. If so, that might be a real "blow-out" factor!

Ugh. Oh why oh why do I see the DNA of Mark Hacking, OJ, J Young, Abrao, Chris Longo, Peterson S; Peterson M, Peterson D, Anne Marie Fahey (Wilmington), Eira Einhorn, Cauruth ... all over this. The list is endless. Killed by greedy, hateful, revengeful, zealous, spurned or insecure spouses, lovers or dates!

Freakin scary... IMHO, BC is but another nut in this peanut cluster.
