Lead investigator George Daniels: House looked like someone was moving. He saw disarray in the living room #coopertrial

I tell you when I've got clothes everywhere and boxes galore and dirty dishes the first thing I think of is I need to scrub these hardwoods with vinegar!!

Brad doesn't even have that nervous vein popping out in close ups
its there but doesn't move

I don't disagree but it does seem that if NC instituted recording of GJ hearings and there was a requirement that the prosecutor present known exculpatory evidence -- that some false indictments might be avoided. I won't even go into NC's version of a persons right to a speedy trial (that has been upheld by the supreme court).

Wake County would have to double (at least) its LEO's, the ME's office, the DA's office, the Public Defender's office, the judges and their staff, and its administration. When Wake County LEO's arrest 20 -- 40 individuals each day, the dockets get filled up fast. Take a look at one WC courtroom on any day and then you might wonder how it gets done all.

Based on my observation and knowing a judge who does it every day. MOO.

Lot's of people use anonymous remailers now. I'd imagine a techie guy like brad would know all about anonymous remailers. Where else on the internet are 'alt' groups but usenet? Do you know?

I don't, but I figured if forensics found the visit to the site, they may be able to determine if he made posts as well.

I'm trying really hard not to be worried that Cummings is conducting direct.

This is so O/T - after all this geek-speak, like gracie's spellcheck, I do need HELP! I'm so flipping dumb with IT stuff - it's scary. True - which is why I loved SleuthSlayer's "layman lingo" analysis on the techie side of the case - I "saw" what was going on (tks SS!!).

:truce:

OK: for last week l/top whirrrrs, slows & freezes to "this program is not responding"! Before this happens I see a lil blue box, center screen:

"A script has become non-responsive or is failing to respond. Click Cancel to stop script or Continue to see if it will rectify".

I click Continue and have valid anti-virus. Is this a bad sign - or simply puter-arthritis? Is it minor ... or time to get a newer model? TIA.

If no response - no worries. I'll probably fade along with it, hahaha.

This usually indicates a problem with a script on the website you are looking at. Try flushing your cache, then check for updates to your browser and ensure all the security patches are installed.

Interesting, I did a search on USPS and can see no notice of it changing size or boundary on that 27518 zip code, on 27519, yes. 27518 did change something in 2006, there are notices for that. I am sure if the witness says it they have proof.

27518 was a new zip code as of July, 2006.

Wasn't baby K almost 2 yrs. old? Was she ill?? 2 yr. olds don't need to be "fed" a bottle....they can practically make a bottle themselves! pfffft....I never believed that story anyway...

Agree. I've been calling out this 2 year old on a bottle story for a long time. Especially giving her warm water in a bottle...who the heck wants to drink warm water? Yuck. At 2, she had a mouth full of teeth and could have had some food to eat if she was hungry. I always wondered if any of NC's friends/family testified the youngest did not take a bottle but rather a sippy cup. I know there are various stages of development and all. My 3 kids and two grandkids were off a bottle by, latest, 14 months.

Pictures taken for a "prosperity" purpose? Gosh. Think he might have meant posterity? And this dude is the head detective for Cary?

Don't know. If I were thinking that strangling somebody might be a good way to kill them I would check to see if I could make it look like they did it themselves. Many a person has gotten off by making a gunshot look self-inflicted, and many others have gotten close to being free by trying that. I don't know much about strangulation but perhaps it didn't pan out that self-strangling would be bought so he went with the she went running and got strangled plan.

Tku - if I were to get inside BC's head, I'd go to strangulation as suicide via self-hanging. From many stories (sadly) I've readon the matter, that is. He may have concocted a scenario where NC came home and ... hung herself? Tks for yr reply - don't wish to evaporate good time on analyzing this now. Interesting that he may have wanted it to look like NC committed suicide....

Correct, but if you google map that Cary zip code, Fielding Drive area still comes up to the far right of the map. And I swear somewhere yesterday I read on WRAL that the map had been "moved" which I equate with clicking and dragging the map over to the Fielding area then zoomed in.

Google the zip code. You will see Holly Springs Rd on the right, and if you zoom enough you will see Fielding even if it is a different zip code.

Been there, done that (on google last night) and you are correctamundo, Coolmom.

And ncsu is right about the 27606 ZIP for Fielding.

This is a good point, but to be fair to defense counsel they are officers of the court and have sworn an oath too. They are also bound by rules of professional conduct and can be disbarred for dishonesty to the court.

One reason to not ask your client if they did it is because if they say yes and explain it you might then be constrained in the ability to present competing theories, though attorneys in criminal cases are afforded more latitude in this arena than those in civil cases.

I agree with everything you have said.

Sorry I didn't word it properly.
Am I allowed to blame my migraine? ;)

  • #414
would you really want the FBI showing their cards so that all criminals, pedophiles have access

The defense didn't ask for anything that would do that. What I don't want is our government, the state, to be able to say we have evidence against you, but we are not going to show it to you, just accept it.

Can you commit suicide by choking yourself?

Yes, but not by manual strangulation. You can choke yourself manually until you pass out, but then muscles relax and you stop choking yourself.

You can tie a ligature around your neck and hook it to something else. Then hold your breath until you pass out, when you collapse, the band will tighten up and finish the job for you.

It is much the same as people hanging themselves from a doorknob. It is faster if you drop from a couple of feet to break your neck, but people do hang themselves from low heights and are successful.

As an engineer and a logical thinking guy, however not much of a house cleaner (I do help out when the wife allows me) I approach cleaning as if washing a car. Wash the top, the hood, the tailgate and then the sides. After this wash the wheels.

Starting the cleaning of house by washing floors first seems illogical as I will be walking on those floors to finish the cleaning.

Brad probably laid down in that bed ..because that would be the room where the children came to when they woke up

I'm not a techie person at all, so I don't know how that could be determined. What I do know is most people don't use real email addy's on usenet to avoid spam & virus/trojans etc. It appears really difficult to track anybody down because most of the providers are now off shore. All the legit. ISP's dropped usenet because of stuff like kiddie 🤬🤬🤬🤬 on the sites that have images. I've only ever had text only. The only place I've ever heard the term 'alt' dot something is usenet.
