The whole redirect recross etc. Besides the witness looking shaky not remembering if it was NC's phone or not, I thought the state's point was it still could boot up and show its number and get an updated time. They said they'd print a pic to question about it, but then it all faded away not sure what to make of it.

The witness definitely ran out of gas. His balloon was out of air. It ain't easy on the stand.

It has been difficult, at best, to have to listen to this man all day. The ADA's cross exam was getting ugly. This man is probably very, very good at what he does but this testimony has been just awful.

They weren't put up and declared an expert. This guy might know what he's doing, but he doesn't testify well, that's for sure.

Did he just say......I didn't want to waste the whole day???? Sorry, but this guy has no credibility. He can't keep anything straight, doesn't respond to questions, and has rambled on with non-relative narratives constantly. He appears confused and unprepared. JMO

Exactly what Boz was aiming for.... the only thing the guy was confused about was whether he used Nancy's phone or a similar phone to perform the test that they filmed in September. Other than that, I don't think he was confused at all. Definitely won the tower discussion and call detail discussion.

I still don't understand why BC gave LE her phone on 7/12/08 and they didn't issue a search warrant on it until 9/22. (Did they delete the info on the phone before they issued the SW?) And they never got one for her phone records at all?

Yes, they deleted it before they got the search warrant.
