I think it shows this witness has little or no respect for law enforcement or the court system. He has a HUGE ego and doesn't like anybody questioning the integrity or quality of his work.

I think he actually has integrity and doesn't like the implication that he doesn't.

Yeah, FB has a pronounced southern accent that made the comment classic.

Heyyyy!

Oh, wait, I thought you said FD, not FB. For a minute I thought you must know me! ;)

The phone was one business day late because he unexpectedly had to go out of town. I'm not seeing a problem, and I certainly would draw conclusions.

She and Hardin were a good pair. O/T but I think there's a good chance MP will get a new trial. The blood evidence was critical, imo & Deaver was the 'expert'.

Oh I hope Nancy Grace has him on about *this* testimony. Nancy Grace does NOT like wife-killers, not one little bit. :floorlaugh: If he thinks Boz is bad, wait till nancy grace gets a hold of him again.

I didn't make my statement based on the phone being returned late. His entire testimony--even when responding to Kurtz--has been self aggrandizing.

I didn't even know you had internet service in Johnston County......:floorlaugh:

We don't, we live just over the county line, we boot-leg. :floorlaugh: Need it for the moonshine business. :great:

Ok, so I've sat here most of the day eating jelly beans and peeps so I am not at a full functioning level.

Has the witness really testified about anything "really" important? I know he is stating the phone was not handled properly...... But nothing really concrete, right?

I think you are right. Maybe they can bring in the owl to testify this time.

Sorry for the overuse of the word really. I sound like a teenager. Like really.

I just asked the same thing about 10 minutes ago. I don't believe there has been too much to his testimony except a couple of things and those have not been real 'gotcha' moments.

Again he stated Det Young was not an expert in cell phones.

Again he gave the PD an out for mishandling the phone.

Wonder how the def feels about that?

Just wonderin'
fran

I don't think that it excuses Young's actions at all, all that is does is show that Young should not have been playing with the phone since he was not an expert.

Don't apologize--I think we're all going somewhat crazy. If that's the worst thing you today you'll be ok.
