Didn't he testify this morning that they did have sex, then stopped?

So I guess he's saying he used the withdrawal method, so he can't be the father. Hmmm....

The youngest daughter is the spitting image of her father (BC).

Nancy/John didn't get to the level <intimacy>of being able to get pregnant.

It's hard to believe they were as confident of that as this statement would imply, or they would not have had the conservation at all.

When women here get pregnant I don't pull them to the side and say do we have anything to be worried about. It'd be LOL if I did until the EEOC complaint hit, but I don't have to b/c I know I can't be the father.

As stated, the guy's a player, and when he isn't worrying about his kids and reputation he's out gaming women, married or otherwise.

ETA: I'm not saying anything about paternity, just this guy not being truthful except when pinned in hard.

JP just testified this morning his recollection was that he and NC had sex.
I edited my post to show it was testimony. It wasn't an opinion or I would have stated it as so.

Him saying "I am very worried about my reputation" on this video broadcast to the internet is a classic! :D No need to worry now, it's all ruined already!

And with the way internet is used to qualify job applicants.....no one to blame but himself

I believe this witness hurts the def. It gives the defendent one more motive.

I mean,..... seriously,..... how many affairs can the def take and not loose his kool?

This guy doesn't help anyone. He doesn't hurt anyone either. He's just a dude who had a drunken night in which he got nekkid with Nancy in Oct 2005.

Well if that's truly the case there is no need for more than a few questions in cross - if any at all. On to the next witness.

I've only seen a couple of pictures of the girls. Are there more somewhere? I'm bad at determining who a baby looks like, but I'd like to try. TIA

Uh oh...bringing up K. Nancy confirmed/agreed no chance K was his.

If he and Nancy are talking about this at all then he must believe that there is a chance they had sex.

Nancy/John didn't get to the level <intimacy>of being able to get pregnant.<witness testimony>

They were nekkid, and that level of intimacy they supposedly did not get to is not required for pregnancy, swimmers swim.

If nothing happened, why would they talk about whether he was the father?

JP just testified this morning his recollection was that he and NC had sex.

So which is it, yeah or nay. I say yeah they had sex. Why would he ask her if they had a problem.. This has to be rough testimony for the Rentzes to hear. That was one swinging neighborhood.

Here, I agree. Any attempt to softpedal the guy I don't buy - he's terrible. So far I do buy that the CPD talked to him at length, which supports they checked out other people. And also it is my personal opinion that BC had anger that he kept concealed - this nonsense could possibly have been a log on that fire.

I don't see this as very likely. Brad was a cheater himself.

JP said they 'started intercourse'.

However - since the defense didn't press beyond the question of "did NC ever talk to you about obligations", I assume there is no paternity test or if there is the daughter is brad's.

So conspiratorators: why didn't the CPD choose this guy instead? He's sleazy, he's slimy. Why poor Mr. Cupper? Doesn't sound like JP is too popular. I'm sure he has his enemies.

I mean in the grand scheme of conspiritorating, you'd think this guy would be an easy target, no?

And apparently they wouldn't have had to do all that nasty frame work - wouldn't have had to erase any phones, wouldn't have had to plant any files on a computer... I mean, geez, their job would have been sooooo much easier - apparently.

Does anyone find it strange that she was trying to have a 2nd child with BC and during that time, got drunk at a party and wound up fooling around with JP?

This is another big <so what> IMHO. He's in sales, thinks he's a glib talker and a ladies man. He's clearly lied, but the interview was contradictory to what the defense has been saying for the last thousand years. I mean, hours. Which is that they never considered anyone else. If they didn't consider anyone else, what were all those questions the investigator was asking? Nobody else noticed this? I wonder if the defense doesn't think the jury will.

What a big, big mess and it isn't over yet! Wonder if HM will be next?

*I agree that this guy is a liar.

True, though to some guys(gals) that does not absolve the other side. Even in this case, the testimony has been that NC was not going to get over the HM thing despite what she did. I could see him being angry about it, but I could see him not really caring any more either. I go with angry, but that's just MOO based on how I already see the case, not as additive.
