There have been inconsistencies in some of what Nancy told to her various friends, I agree. This is just another of those common sense or gut feeling things the jury will have to go with. It does fly in the face of what Nancy told her family and friends that she wasn't afraid of Brad.

I don't question any of the witnesses' truthfulness - I think they are relaying what they were told. But enough already, it's basically the same story. Let's move on already. We are not learning anything NEW at all.

I think the point being made here is that testimony is that Nancy wasn't afraid of Brad, yet she said she slept in jeans, with her children, with the door barricaded (and often after she'd left the kids there with him). It doesn't add up.

I'm thinking there was a radical change in Brad once he discovered the rough draft of that separation agreement. And that Brad, even by the admissions of others, could be an extremely moody person. Usually in domestic violence situations, it is the two partners who are the ones battling. How many times have we heard "well I never thought he/she would hurt the children." Perhaps some nights Nancy did feel in fear, after expecially testy battles. Krista certainly thought immediately that Brad had done something to Nancy. And she was someone who lived *inside* the home when she was there with nancy.

Exactly. More about the money, more about the laundry, more about the cluttered garage, etc. The new testimony was about Nancy telling Dr. Hackling that Brad called her a "dumb F***." WHY did that not come from the real estate agent, who was supposed to have witnessed it?

I'm not sure I understand where she was afraid BC would take the kids. Didn't he want to stay in this area? (I live in Raleigh.) He had a great job. Where else would he go, but to Canada? Isn't that where she wanted him to go?

Running bra:

A) I know several friends who have small hips and they step into their running bras and pull them up.

B) Some have hooks in the back...especially ones for larger breasts.

C) It has been my belief all along the roll of the bra was curled over versus under, was I mistaken? Does this need to be the focus of this testimony?

D) I have thought all along NC was either removing or putting on her running bra in her bathroom and BC came in and a shouting/pushing argument ensued - ending in him restraining her by the neck on the floor.

Didnt defense just suggest to this witness, that the RE Agent denied the DF word was said????I did NOT hear that question to the RE Agent..did anyone here hear it??

Yikes talking, to another man does NOT mean she was having an affair..yet ohhh not sure if its Kurtz..think its Mr. T..anyway saying Nancy confessed to having a "Relationship" ?? Yikes...During my marriage, I had more male friends than female friends..does that mean I had Multiple relationships which by Def. definition means "AFFAIRS"???? Probably just me, but were I this witness, I'd have to state 'yes, Brad Cooper paid for the preschool, the same way my husband pays for our daughters preschool....' As this witness is also a stay at home mother.
