i never understood that ...a gallon is a gallon
imperial....whats up
I am sure our Country switched to metric so we wouldn't seem upset by the prices one liter = 4.546 Canadian gallon

I think he started working on all of this in April--when the money facts came out. It may have still been a rage killing but I think he had everything in place prior to that night to know exactly what was going on in Nancy's private life with respect to her attorney, the RE agent, etc.

But that doesn't make any sense. Then why not have the garage cleaned up well ahead of time? Why not go into weekend cleaning mode every weekend so that it doesn't seem unusual. Lots of "odd" behaviors that indicate it wasn't pre-planned.

  • #343
That would require pre-planning. If this was a rage killing, he wouldn't have the opportunity to borrow this from work.

Maybe this is a point for pre-meditation.

  • #344
Sure. But unless this was a pre-planned murder (and I have a lot of issue with that), why would he have one in his house on 7/12/08. Also, he didn't go to work from the 12th -> 16th when his house searched/seized, so what did he do with it? He couldn't have returned it to Cisco and it wasn't seized and/or photographed in the house.

I am thinking he removed all traces of any sort of equipment prior to the search warrants/searches. There are a million places he could have disposed of the FXO or any other item that would have seemed suspicious. I have no idea if the LE officers did a complete search of his house, they were slack in other areas, which somewhat leads me to think they searched with murder in their minds and not so much technology.

Just agreed this was purchased for work not for home.

IMO, this is where the term 'reasonable doubt' comes into play. And where the puzzle pieces begin falling into place. Brad never even bothered to retain a divorce attorney. Made no attempts to mediate a separation agreement. Didn't follow through on setting up a checking account for Nancy, as he'd apparently agreed to. IMO, either Brad was the luckiest SOB on earth, of all the females in Cary, he completely lucked out on it being his useless wife who got herself killed. He should have purchased the biggest lottery ticket available. Or, the many pieces of the puzzle connecting are too many in number for *reasonable* doubt. Too many to explain away reasonably, with common sense. MOO

Some things we do not know, is all of the places where Brad was on July 12th prior to coming back to meet up with the police after 3pm. We know about HT and LTF, where else, other than places he said he was ? Just a thought. Keep in mind he also dialed Cisco on his own cell phone prior to heading to HT the second time.

ETA - we also know from telephone records that his work phone did have forwarding...

I do not believe it was premeditated to be executed exactly on the night of July 11/12. But I think he was placing himself in a position to be one-up on everything Nancy was doing from a legal point of view and had been for several months.
I'm just like the rest of you all--don't have any answers and just waiting for the connections.

A) Since procured via internal method, seems the item would at least be on inventory and accountable even today, right?

B) Did BC return to office at anytime prior to NC's body being found?

He returned to the office on July 17...before a search warrant was executed at his house.

Same place the shoes are.

off topic

we are paying about 6.00 a gallon in Ontario what are you guys paying

I'm assuming you are referring to gas? My husband says $3.60 something. $3.65 perhaps.

That's exactly right--he was mostly in 'disappear' mode for a couple of hours that day before meeting with LE back at his house.

Is it 'bigger than a breadbox'? :)

Should that be one gallon = 4.54 litres?

Same place the shoes are.

That's why I said in another post that it was important to see if that fxo is accounted for at Cisco.

  • #356
So this witness is going to explain that it is possible to do this using an FXO and that Brad had access to an FXO through work. However, he would still have to use the Cisco Call Manager to initiate the call, and there would have to be records of that, right?

yes one Canadian gallon is 4.54 liters I didn't learn metric because I thought it would be a phase....I just know the gas and the meat 2.2 kg in a pound

I believe he was obsessing about killing her - I am not sure he had a real "plan" per se - down to the date, etc. just that he was going to do it.

The evening of the party - SOMETHING happened - and this pushed him to execute his plan. the catathymic crisis. I believe it was also something that maybe in the emails he was reading immediately prior to her coming home.

I believe that this shows why some things will be shown to be so methodical, and others issues not as well "covered"

I think he is way too calculating as an individual and as an engineer (they are just wired differently) to just 'lose it' - I see him more of a planner.

MOO

That's why I said in another post that it was important to see if that fxo is accounted for at Cisco.

So do I understand correctly that Brad had access to a gadget that allowed him to make remote telephone calls from his home to his cell phone? He ordered the equipment through work for internal use, and the gadget was not found at his home. However, he had access to the equipment and it would tie things together in terms of the phone calls between 6 and 7 AM, and the estimated time of death between 1 AM and 6 AM?

LOL ... it's been a long phase! The other important one to know is 2.54 cm/in.
