I don't think the ADA was expecting that answer about the cell phone. Do they make an ssh client for the blackjack?

I jailbroke my iphone years ago and have SSH on it.

Holy cow - did I just see that there was a 23 second call at the time BC said NC called him the morning of July 12th? And that exact time was congruent with testimony with CSIM automation call duration? Now *that's* compelling evidence!!!

IIRC, wasn't it New Years Eve when Brad told Nancy 'yes, he did have an affair with Heather & that he was in love with her?'

why would her "friend" tell Nancy she was sleeping with her husband...not very friendly if you ask me

very interesting - you can telnet via your cell.

windows telnet function does not save logs.

Wonder if he'll talk specifically about mobile apps to use telnet.

  • #427
Tel-net? There would be no computer record of the call?

uh oh, another of those pesky little coincidents - 22 secs to instigate versus Brad's 23 second 605 am call on 7/12/2008. Gulp.

I believe they were referring to the 6:05am call, not the 6:40am call (the call that he claims NC made).

As I listen, it appears that the only method of making these calls show up on the TWC log is to have access to the TWC modem/phone module. All these other methods are prosecutorial misdirection. NCSU95? Can you hack into the TWC modem and issue commands to make this happen?

I love this show and tell stuff..helps the jury to understand just what they are talking about..right now talking about Click and Call..

Remember, this witness indicated there are several ways to initiate a call, so far we have heard just a couple of methods.

Huh? Every way he has described would place a call over the TWC phone line which would show up in the TWC call logs.

But the 6:40 call wasn't 22 or 23. What is this supposed to mean? If he was testing it at 6:05, why is the call duration different at 6:40?

Call would appear to have come from the house.

It was 6:05 ...set up time before he left on his mission!!

He also needed equipment to put the FXO card in which has also not been accounted for.

First it seemed odd that police wanted to tie the time of death close to 1 AM (stomach contents) but that made sense with the bug testimony. I think police were stumped about how to explain the 6-7 AM phone calls and this phone testimony is the only way to explain the call. Brad clearly had access to the equipment and could pre-schedule a phone call ... one that lasts 21 - 22 seconds. I think this is good testimony for the prosecution.

I wonder IF Brad had made the homephone on forewarding all calls to his phone?...He could have easily made a call to his home which was then forewarded to his phone..but logs would make it appear as if call came from homephone..since the internet click and call log is NOT saved..Its not a wonder these AT&T logs are important in conjunction to this guys testimony :rocker:

And that ladies and gentlemen, is how you make a call look like it came from a landline when it really didn't.

So all they are doing is showing multiple ways of doing this? We already knew there were multiple ways of doing this. My guess is they don't have proof that he did any of these, or they wouldn't be showing all the different ways. And all of these require the fxo, which wasn't found in the house. This is disappointing.
