She got the impression slept with her keys because Nancy just wanted to keep her independence.

IF the worst thing anyone can say about Nancy is that she was a good story teller..and tendency to exaggerate...the defense has very little to point to as any causal rationale for Nancy to be the reason for marriage woes... What I have heard is that both of them liked NICE THINGS....

All witnesses in this trial when asked to describe Nancy and Brad...It seems they are consistent..Nancy "Life of the Party"..or Social..and Brad being quiet, kept to himself. Both were good with the girls...tho saw Brad with them very little..Nancy was a Super Mom...

So nice to hear the obvious caring for Nancy..I am sure the Rentz family are very proud of how their girls developed into adulthood...Sorry dont know much about Nancy's brother..Im sure he too is a wonderful person!!

If it was the defenses smoking gun why are you the only one recognizing this? I didn't read anyone else discussing this defense huge "Fact" yesterday. Why didn't N&O and wral say anything about how important this was? All I read from everyone is that his home system wasn't completely secure.

Things had to be tied together from different parts of testimony. Defense really had to get this information out in a roundabout way but they did manage to do it. I'll bet they will have someone from Google to confirm the file types, at least I hope they do. I believe it was very clear, and they even used the FBI cursor log to show this so it was nothing they just pulled out of thin air.

She had a "lovely " conversation with Nancy about Brads affair with H Matour. Uh huh, Right.

Reminds me of Laci Peterson being 'okay' with Amber. :banghead:

And what's with all this 'so brad was home with the children' stuff? The husbands of the women Nancy went out with also 'watched their own children', I'd imagine.

How commendable that Brad didn't go around letting everyone think he could kill his wife.

Why am I feeling like this is a prosecution witness???

Sounds so far like this woman was not very "close" to Nancy if she thought things were okay with them and they were getting by and being good parents and BC was a good dad.

That or she simply wasn't part of the group which coordinated their affidavits at the suggestion of the CPD.

Interesting, maybe the jury will be smart enough to pull this theory all together, because I can't seem to from everything I am hearing.. but I am not sitting there all day to hear it. Don't we wish we could get into their minds!

You have my sympathy then. I went from having a Lab who never questioned anything we asked her to do beyond, "Sit? Where? Is here good? I could move over 3 inches if that would be better?? I'm a good sitting dog!!" to my Red Heeler who is really smart but even more stubborn. She is smart enough to pass her Canine Good Citizen test, but no one would ever believe it.

"I hear you asking me to sit, and I'm weighing the pros and cons...do you have food because that might sway me?". Same with the "Come!" command. She is smart enough that she knows that "Come!" is usually less fun than squeezing through the door when I'm trying to go to work, running down to Lake Johnson with me trailing behind her in high heels and work clothes yelling at her to "COME!!". The icing on that cake is that 2X now she's done that and both times the same lady has been down there screaming at me that my dog needs to be on a leash. (because don't most people walk their dogs in high heels, panty hose and a skirt/blouse??)

My rottie mix is like your first, would do backwards cartwheels to make me happy. Big boy, couldn't care less about making either of us 'happy'. It's all about *Him*. :great: Loved your story, been there/done that too with Big Boy! :floorlaugh:

We'll hear it in closing statements at least.

ugh....this "friend" has puppy eyes for dear Brad. I bet any confidence Nancy shared with her went directly to Brad.

I agree. It will be hard and someone is going to have to highlight these key points for them.

ha, that's so completely extreme.

How so? the CPD admitted telling someone who was "organizing" the submission of affidavits that "consistency is good."

There is at least one "organizing" email directing certain friends to find only photos which specifically fit a certain agenda (that she necver took her necklace off).

In my not so humble opinion, there is no better breed of dog than a retriever. (now I'll duck for cover :truce:)

That is incorrect. You can believe what you want but the document shown in court was of the cursor files from the Google Map search on 7/11 at 1:15. It showed STATIC files, meaning no cursor movements occurred - could not have been a zoom-in.

Then later, it was pointed out they were .bmp extensions and Google Maps did not use .bmp files in 2008. They used .cur.

There is no doubt. You have to wade through a lot of testimony to find this but it is 100% clear.

No offense, really, but you have no idea what you are talking about with regard to how Google Map searches actually work.

Extreme buffering issues for me today. :( 'She' couldn't make it work?? Usually when a couple can't work things out it's because *they* can't make it work. MOO This witness seems to give Brad a pass for so much. I wonder how she'd do if it was her husband sleeping with HM in *her* master bedroom closet?

I need evidence that H Matour did NOT sleep with her husband in the MBR closet.

My buffering has been horrible too. I changed my wifi settings which helped me a lot since apparently all my neighbors are home for spring break and using their networks.
