I'm back in the courtroom today. As a CPA who has the same life insurance coverage I had to hear this in person...

I got here just when they are going to lunch, crap!!

Just read back a little bit :innocent: ... but be prepared!!!

In Session replaying Fiona's statement re Jason's 'dick tricks'.

Please help me recall the timing of the car "accident"?

I can't recall exactly when the accident was, but she got pregnant right afterwards, against doctor's advice.

She was 5 1/2 months pregnant when she was murdered. So that would put the miscarriage right about the first month or two of '06, I believe.

Anyone else know?

Was that a juror that asked for a 5 minute break?

Juror probably needed the brain bleach.

HC will definitely say "d1ck tricks" during his closing. Count on it.

I am beginning to think that JY is not entirely truthful.

...JY claimed on his insurance application for the $2M policy that he DOES NOT Smoke. Not cigarettes, not cigars.

On the policy he stated that he did not smoke cigarettes or cigars within the past year. Since he testified that he only occasionally smoked cigars, it would be easy for the defense to claim that he hadn't smoked any during the year before he filled out the form. This doesn't seem to be a strong "gotcha".

Thank you Fi. :)

She acted and looked a bit like a ditz, but, my friends, this woman is sharp. She seemed to "know" where the PT was going with this and made good, strong answers. She was being a good friend to MY, even after MY's death. She comes off in reality as a good citizen, and a respectable, loyal sorority sister and friend.

Haha... he probably felt like he had just been kicked in the UKNOWWHATS.

5 mins requested by a female voice, presumably a juror.

FEB 2006 - takes out $2M life insurance policy on MY and another one on JY, with another $2M for accidental death & dismemberment. That's $4M total to be paid out if it's an accident.

MAY 2006 - JY drives car off road and embankment into the river while he and MY are "getting coffee at Starbucks," which is something JY insisted they do, by themselves, before heading back to Raleigh. Neither are injured seriously but MY miscarries the baby she is carrying (early pregnancy).

NOV 2006 - MY is murdered while her husband is conveniently still within striking distance -- he has the opportunity to drive back and kill her.

JY claimed on his insurance application for the $2M policy that he DOES NOT Smoke. Not cigarettes, not cigars, not in the last year.

BAM. May was supposed to be the deal, but he blew it.

I don't put too much into checking 'no' for smoking on the insurance application. He's known to lie, why wouldn't he do that same thing to get an insurance application through.
