Was this information in Trial #1?

For a policy that large you usually have to have a paramed exam. Height/Weight/Blood Pressure/Urine in most cases.

Correct but a casual cigar smoker isn't going to trigger anything (usually) in that exam. I'm not saying he's telling the truth about smoking, just in general.

Juror who requested a break had been talking and laughing about two minutes prior. Wasn't anywhere near the d tricks comment though. I think she just really needed to pee.

I will say, having seen this jury on more than one occasion, that I feel some of them will be strong NG jurors. There are some I'd say are definite G jurors also.
If he walks, my trial watching days are fini.

OMG! Jason increased MY's life insurance from $1M to $2M with double indemnity.

What was that now, no motive?

Sounds like about $4M motive to me!

Wow!

Have you been there lately?
I would love getting your input, iucpa.
Jurors taking notes, attentive?

Given JY's fixation with the male anatomy; he may well enjoy his prison stay a little too much, if is afforded that opportunity.

OMG... I needed the chuckle this morning :floorlaugh:

4 million!!!??

That's a whole lotta motive, IMO

  • #290
People can say "Ya people lie all the time" on the insurance app to get cheaper rates (commit fraud) but in this case it's just another thing in a loooooooong list of things to explain away. This is why, IMO based on the belief that the theory that makes the fewest assumptions is likely correct, G is the answer here.

I have worked in a bar for four years and I have never heard of d__k tricks!! That is as fast as I have ever heard HC speak during this trial.

they need to go shopping... I think we used it all :gasp:

LOL, I wasn't expecting her to say that. I must have missed the discussion here. I was :what:

  • #292
Did I hear correctly, the entire 4 million was paid out?

I don't know if the entire $4M was paid out, but whatever was paid out went to the daughter's estate, executed by Linda Fisher, as part of the wrongful death suit of MY. JY did not get one penny of that because he would have been required to submit to a deposition for the insurance company. He wasn't about to do that.

  • #293
I giggled BOTH times he said it. Fingers crossed he'll find some way to indignantly shout it outloud during the trial...

Hey there is not much to do up there in Transylvania. I never heard of anyone doing this before.

Yea and then he drove her down an embankment two months later. He only killed the unborn child! moo

HC is coming across again as being ill prepared.

  • #296
How was Jason going to collect if he didn't talk?

If he didn't talk to keep CY, you think he was going to talk for money?

This is how Justin Barber got nailed (thankfully) he got greedy.

Whoever killed MY was not thinking about $$, imo....

So basically he lies on a life insurance app about smoking and was going to commit insurance fraud with the home warranty insurance (enroll in it and then have it used to fix a pre-existing broken heat pump). Not a murderer for sure, but definitely low character.

sure fits in line with that strange car accident with the strange leave-the-daughter-to-get-coffee-quick-before-we-actually-leave trip as well.

he tried for the 4mil (ala accident), failed, so tried for the 2mil.... and I seriously bet those computer searches were looking up ways to still go for the 4mil....

Yes, agreed. By itself it means nothing, but together with all the other puzzle pieces...

BOOM!
