I wonder if there is a house in the neighborhood, on Enchanted Oaks Drive that is the same floor plan as Michelle Young's home. We have a "twin" house a couple of streets over and our homes were built in the 60's. Newer neighborhoods have this happening a lot. Could she be right on with seeing a car that morning, on Enchanted Oaks, and just confused because it's a twin of MY's home?

I thought Rosemary Z provided comic relief in the BC case but the Oscar goes to Mrs. Hensley!

Granny's testimony was confusing and is probably irrelevant.

Does anyone think the DT placed her after PY in order to lighten the mood in the courtroom in case PY lost her nerve (and I think we all agree that happened to some degree), kind of like a literal joker up the sleeve?

Agree...............she did the best she could do.

She said Spivey took her to the Young home.

It will be up to the Jury to decide.

But, she was priceless ..

Honestly, in that deliberation room I doubt a single juror will base a NG (or G for that matter) vote weighted with testimony we just heard.

I think they shoud have asked her what steet she lived on and what street she had to travel on to leave the subdivision......

  • #446
Does anyone know the old ladys name and what street she lives on or would be driving from? TIA

ps. she was too funny!

I agree, not a credible witness at all. They may have brought her in right after Pat Young, to create a distraction from all that testimony that seemed untrue.

She was sure insistent that it was on Enchanted Oaks Dr (and the DT tried to changed that to Enchanted Oaks Subdivision) and when looking at the map, said specifically it was not Birchleaf!

She just said the car was on Enchanted Oaks Drive, not Birchleaf. This car could have been anything IMO.
Just going to jump in here and give MOO of the address and house. Spivey drove her to the house, she had give statement very early in case and he was most likely going back checking out notes. He will clarify house and address since he obviously took the pictures. All MOO

:seeya: hi everyone.

She made it clear the gray suv she saw was in the front of Young's house, which is located in the Enchanted Oaks subdivision.

JMO

In the Enchanted Oaks subdivision but not on Enchanted Oaks Drive, which is where she adamantly said she saw the vehicle.

I bet HC's ears are going to be burning when Pat Young goes to lunch, lol.

That's the way I took it.... She doesn't know the street names just the subdivision...

As much as I'm convinced that she is convinced of what she saw - she was adament that it was both MY's house and not on Birchleaf.

As for the subdivision carrying the same name as a road in it, you might be driving in a subdivision, but not on it (that would be a road).

Hey.:seeya:

I wonder why Spivey took her to the house, why not let HER show him what house it was.

Lol, now that really helped.!

And, I mean that in a good way!!

Yeah I wish they had outlined her route...because when she said "Enchanted Oaks Dr" Klink repeated "Enchanted oaks subdivision" so it's sort of confusing what route she drove and where the car was.

I think there are a couple of other witnesses whose testimony was a bit more useful in the first trial. Hopefully the postal worker will testify soon.

Wonder who will be up after lunch?

Also, I wouldn't look for Howard to be receiving any strawberry pretzel salad this year from Brevard.

Hahaha, I agree. I am betting she's a little miffed at her son too for putting her in this position.

She was quite credible and adament that it was MY's house. The street name is no big deal.
