Did she say this last trial? I remember last time she could only tell the day because it was the day a different paper carrier was delivering the paper. I guess she's been beefing up her testimony.

Ok so the same day when Cindy Beaver saw the car at 5:20ish, she came home from work around 3pm and noticed a bunch of cars, people(presumably Meredith and CY) and the sheriff.

Pretty credible imo.

Everyone's relationship is different.

Any car or any activity at Birchleaf after 3:30 am puts Jason out of the picture.

I sure wish they had narrowed the TOD some.

:maddening:

:what: So if someone had been driving by and pulled in to the Young driveway to turn around and this USPS lady drove by, THAT clears Jason? Wow.

Okay HC, let's ask every question the DT asked all over again expecting a different response. Every question the DT asked, got it?

It is amazing to me how people automatically throw out this woman's testimony and cling to Gracie's as golden.

I have to agree. At least they can cancel out one another.

I saw her testimony in the last trial but don't remember the details. Either way the jury is only hearing it this time. Unless HC can trip her up I think seeing the car at 5:20 and then all the commotion at 3pm makes it pretty certain that it was during the time frame around MY's murder.

DH and I discuss purchases over $100 not because one of us is trying to control the other but because we believe our marriage is a partnership and such decisions should be made together. JMO

I think the thought here is that if this witness is being accurate and truthful, whoever she saw in the driveway would have come forward given the publicity surrounding the case and the requests put out by the WCSO. To not come forward would indicate involvement in the murder.

I think that's up to the jury to decide...but remember the point of the trial isn't to clear Jason, it's to prove that he committed the murder.

How coincidental would that be? On the night of MY's murder, someone just happens to turn around in their driveway at precisely the time this woman was leaving? It usually doesn't take more than a few seconds to turn around. And usually the lights in the house wouldn't be on for that.

Yikes, this is my local post office lady.

If turning around why come fwd out of the driveway... Anytime I've had to turn around in someones driveway I pull in and back out...

And vice versa.

What did she just mean when she said she decided to testify "after the timeline changed".

  • #597
I'm not a MOD or anything, but TOS says attack the post and not the poster.

Don't want anyone to get in trouble.

yes! attack the post and not the poster... and everyone will have different opinions on if they tell their spouse they are buying something etc...

again... attack the post and not the poster.

I didn't understand that either.

Interesting thought. Wonder if the guy who parked at the no-camera pump and yelled at Gracie and over-paid for the gas he pumped has come forward yet.....
