I'm thinking he took off his clothes, inside out, rolled into a ball, put into a bag of some type. Later he added the 2 pairs of shoes and perhaps the murder weapon. Took a shower, cleaned the shower or else washed himself outside with the hose

No blood outside Master bedroom, except hall bath.
OBVIOUS he cleaned in the master bath.
I am at a total loss why there was zero mention of that being processed at all?????

I growed up widda language of da Lums, pa sack. Lemme get a cupa ellick and beat dis baby gal for wallerin in my char. Skillet and dem is hangin' rock up der in Smothern Pines.

Ha, I love it. It's funny how different people talk county to county. Moving around the country so much I have been made fun of more times than I can count. We moved to Charlotte when my children were in high school. They had grown up in Richmond, VA , San Fransisco and Atlanta but the Charlotte kids called my son a redneck because we moved from Ga to NC. LOL

I dont completely disagree with your theory, but it is complete insanity how someone could manage to avoid all forensic proof placing him at the crime scene. Like I've stated previously, IMO he definitely killed MY. Madeleine how do you suppose he made the clothes/weapon disappear?

I think he cleaned up with hose in backyard and forgot to turn it off. He wouldn't care if he were out there nude.

JTF- to me, I find it to be a long shot that he would have managed to clean EVERY SINGLE SPECK OF BLOOD out of wherever it was he went in the house after the murder. So intense... him washing himself in the hose seems more logical (ha!), the lack of mention of processing the bathroom makes me wonder if they will bring it in later?

I growed up in Joanston.

Does anyone know what was on the deck boards that were removed?

Maybe he stripped the clothes and shoes in the BR and did just that.
But still, there should have been mention of processing the bathroom with at least luminol for the presence of blood. If they did not, this guy should be fired.

It was November and cold in the house. Wouldn't it have been too cold to shower outside?

I think he had plenty of opportunities to dump the clothes and weapon in any dumpster between here and Hillsville. That part doesn't surprise me as much as the fact that he didn't track blood anywhere... downstairs, in his car, anything. I'm amazed that in his rush to clean up and get back to VA he was so thorough. I still think he did it, though.

I also think he left the hose running on purpose, to make it look like an intruder did it (stranger wouldn't want DNA in the bathroom) and to continue washing away any evidence that was on the ground.

Same way Brad Cooper got rid of his clothes & shoes from the morning of the murder... in a dumpster somewhere, and they were never found. Perhaps in Hillsville or perhaps somewhere on the way. Likely in a landfill as of now.

About the shower, I seem to remember that the source for information about blood in the master bath shower was the neighbor of Jason's mom. Does anyone remember any other source for that information?

As for how much blood got on him and his clothes, wouldn't that depend partially on what the murder weapon was? A longer weapon would allow him to be further away from MY and further from the blood spray. Not far enough, obviously, but I think it depends on several factors including angle of attack, where he was standing, length of weapon and what else was in his way (like bedding, sheets, pillows, etc).

The deck boards had the same foot print in the sealant, as was found in the blood print, from what I remember. Suggesting that whoever sealed the deck, also killed MY. (cough cough, JASON)

Exactly what I had said -- I think he hosed-off his bare feet at the outside spigot & then got in his car.

His plan was really pretty good. But.....

Except it was cold that night. We've already heard that testimony.

Since he was hitting her with a blunt object, he wouldn't have necessarily been covered in blood.

.
I saw the photos and there was blood spatter everywhere (as high as 7' on wall)
Like the walls, no way his clothing and face/hair did not take a direct hit.
Sure, stripping the bloody clothes, gloves and shoes would leave just his face and hair to clean. Perhaps that is where the hose came in, as cody suggested.
