Madeleine he could have easily grabbed a duffle bag from his closet and threw it out the back window. Cleaned up in the BR then finished up outside. He prolly washed the shoes off with the hose too. It's been so long do we know what type of shoes he had one when he arrived back in Raleigh? Sorry if it has been disscused before.

TIA!!

Wonder if his car floor or anything in there was 'wet'? Not blood but water.

Do you say... extension cord OR drop cord???

My sister-in-law asked me if I had a drop cord :waitasec: . I'm born and raised in N.C. and I didn't know what she was asking about :floorlaugh: .

This is the same sister-in-law that thought a barricuda was a type of tiger tho :great: .[/QUOTE

My mother says drop cord.

Except it was cold that night. We've already heard that testimony.

But would he have noticed? His adrenaline was pumping and he was rushing so the cold air prolly didn't bother him.IMO

I doubt the weather/coldness/temperature etc., would have mattered to JLY that night as far as cleaning up, getting naked to hose himself down, etc. He had just brutally beaten his wife to death. If one must 'get naked outside to clean up', one must do it, regardless of the temp. IMO. Goes with the territory of committing a bloody homicide. MOO

C'mon WS'ers. Wouldnt you rather be cold than caught murdering your wife?! Get real. He didn't give a flying care if it was cold or not, he needed to get clean, and keep the house clean.

I don't think he would have noticed because of the adrenaline rush. He would have been in a hurry, had more blood than expected, and had one thing in mind: Getting back to his hotel in Virginia.

So was Jason's stop at the Hospital in Brevard done so that he could charge the mileage to the company? It's interesting that he didn't give actual mileage, but instead claimed he restarted at zero each time.

I thought it was a joke ... but is the theory really that Jason took a shower in Nov at 4 in the morning with the hose outside?

The claim is not that he took a shower, but that he washed whatever body parts were necessary after he declothed in the house. He did this to avoid getting any trace evidence in the shower.

I say drop cord!! I have lived in NC all my life and Johnston County (except when in college). I sometimes host a local TV show called the Bargin Market. I still can't understand people when they call in? I know I sound country but some people....geesh. My Nanny(Gma) always use to ask me Did I wants some eags and bacin when i would stay with her.....lol

Does the prosecution think that what he did?

Does that help, Otto? It is kind of our assumption of a last chance effort to explain JY's clothes never found, no blood in the car, the blood on the door knob, no clothes ever found, and no DNA in the shower (and no clothes found) of MY or evidence of another intruder.

Did I mention that we never found the clothes he was seen leaving the hotel in? :seeya::seeya::seeya::seeya:

And the water hose was heard running by MF and confirmed to be on. Something just dawned on me. Being November and it was very cold out do you think they would live some water running so the pipes wouldn't freeze? My husband and I use to do this at a house we rented because it was an older home. I never thought about that until now. Can we see what the temp was back in Nov. 06? Wasn't it said that their heat wasn't working upstairs?

THey haven't really spoken of it, aside from mentioning the hose was on and MF heard water running when she arrived there. Also, whoever was in the house and murdered michelle would have had to clean their hands/body at SOME point, regardless of whether it was JY or another intruder... since there was no DNA evidence suggesting this person left messily.

I can't imagine it ever being cold enough in Nov in NC for pipes to freeze. IMO, Jason used that hose to wash blood off of something.

MY was home, so they would not have needed to leave the water running to preserve the pipes... She would have been using the water. Are you suggesting that JY turned it on to save his pipes on the way out? LOLOL he barely gave enough care in preserving his daughter.

  • #158
I think a small amount of water is all that is needed to perserve pipes. In early November, I doubt it would have been cold enough to have even needed to be concerned over the pipes. NC does get cold enough to freeze pipes. I still think he rinsed off enough to get blood off and left the water running. It is just a theory.

Nice analysis of the way they respect the jury. I suppose it was his change in demeanor towards the defense attorney combined with what I took to be a subtle arrogance that made me get a bad taste in my mouth.

Can anyone tell me what is the deal with the cards?

I'm bettin' it's a card to JY from MM. No idea, actually, but that's my guess.

He read the signature as being Jason's on the card.

So the card was sent from Orlando? The same day that Michelle had him being in Wilmington in her calendar?
