Just when you think JB can't get anymore ludicrous, he does, JVM, weshtv, Geraldo may all think the sun shines out of his derriere but I think finally the old saying about "not fooling all of the people all of the time" is beginning to be very apparent. If the response of JB to the light handed rebukes he has suffered thus far is anything to go by, a good honest dressing down and sanctions by the judge will be met with...extreme prejudice by our resentful lead defense attorney.

That means, between the weekday hours of 6:30pm to 3:00am, and all day on the weekends, the district will be allowed to shut down the road to vehicles and transform it to an outdoor festival.

I only got thru 9 pages of JB's motion before closing the tab in disgust. I even had to leave my computer and stew over how the judge might respond. IMHO BP has been a pillar of tolerance and incredibly fair. I sometimes disagree on one of his pro-defense it seems rulings but then after thinking it through, always come to the realization that he makes decisions from a place of complete impartiality, whereas I sit yelling at PDF documents, on a computer screen from a foreign land.
I'm the president of BP's fan club. This man has taught me many valuable things over the past year and the audacity of ^*&$ JB to even think the thoughts he did, let alone pen them in the form of accusations against my man IS OUTRAGEOUS.

Bill Ss commentary on the subject has made it possible for me to sleep tonight so thanks again for providing the link!!!

I just got home and read Baez's latest masterpiece. :floorlaugh: I saw it had attached exhibits, so I am guesing it is supposed to be a motion? haha Me thinks he was hitting that bottle of Patron hanging out on his credenza when he drafted that whiny crock of crumbs. Heck, just reading it made me want a shot of tequila!

Seriously. It occurred to me while reading this carp, that I really believe that Baez doesn't know HOW to answer the State or Judge Perry. I'm not even sure he understand WTH the rules are. He has no real strategy so it is not that he is trying to keep some great mystery close to the vest...He really doesn't have a clue. So he just files something... anything...even a "nanny-nanny-boo-boo". I do think part of his attitude is "This is a DP case and I can do WTH I want and I dare anybody to tell me different." :snooty: I think another part is that he is doing everything he can to get under Ashton's skin and get a reaction.

I heard better arguements from my kids when they wrote their initials on the wall and then denied they did it.....even my mom in the dark days of dementia had better arguements --- (and let me tell you I was always quesitoning what she said vs. the reality--awful horrid disease)---It is sad that it is all about him---he isn't trying to "save" ICA from the dp---he is trying to create this super imposed super human lawyer he believes himself to be...
