I'm not trying to argue with you, but what evidence could he possibly have? The SA has plenty of expert witnesses that can say the body was there earlier. So, besides "Because I said so", I just can't see him having anything. JB worries me. He's either the stupidest or the smartest atty out there. But, seeing how the Nathan Diaz trial went . . . well . . . :silenced:

if any of you have seen your own posts from here show up on other forums you know what I am talking about. Poor Californian is working so hard on the timeline thread in the Jaycee forum and people just steal the posts with no regard for copyright and post them at other forums.

He has nothing that is even credible much less compelling to the standards of most thinking people, imo. However, we can't prove he doesn't believe his evidence is proof beyond any doubt. For example, he may submit Joy's depo. And he may swear on a stack of bibles that Joy proves his contention and that she is an expert, a team leader, blah blah blah blah. No one can prove the defense doesn't believe she's credible or that they don't really believe that she ever searched anywhere near Caylee. He may trot out the PI video and swear on a stack of Bibles that he believes this corroborates Joy -- look! She wasn't there! He may put CA under oath to say she walked the area herself after her "people" came back empty handed.

IMO, none of those three people are credible at all. I can't prove that JB doesn't believe every word out of their lying and/or deluded mouths. IMO, even if I believe they believe what they're saying, it doesn't change anything. None of them were where Caylee was and therefore, even IF I believe them to be truthful, I don't find their evidence to be compelling. After hearing what they have to say, I don't feel swayed to believing that Caylee wasn't put there shortly after her demise.

We can't prove what's in another's heart. We can laugh at it and dismiss it but we can't prove he doesn't believe it.

Notice though, he didn't say he had evidence that KC did NOT kill her. For me, it doesn't matter if someone played hide & seek with the body or the body was never found, KC still killed her. When I say doesn't matter, I mean it doesn't matter as far as finding her guilty of murder.

That's exactly what I thought. It was utterly, amazingly bizarre to hear macaluso claim that if someone moved the body that it 'proves her innocence'. It makes absolutely no sense. What was he thinking??

Question ... if JB does not provide the prosecution with evidence to support his claim that Caylee's body was placed at the scene while Casey was in jail, what happens then? Are there any consequences for making a false claim? Or, is it all chalked up to legal wrangling and he gets a superficial slap on the wrist and everyone moves on?

I think the defense's point was to taint the jury pool with this assertion anyway, so if it backfires, JB gets something worse than a slap on the wrist-He gets a few more people in the potential jury pool that mistrust him before the trial has even started.

ITA. They have their foot in their mouths. We all know that if they had anything exculpatory KC wouldn't be sitting in jail. This is just a huge smokescreen on the defense's part.

Is the evidence TM alludes to in his statement at the hearing contained in the brief CarolinaMoon linked? Is this all the evidence they are referring to or are they alluding there is more they haven't revealed? I'm just wondering why LDB would compel them to release this discovery to them if they already had it in hand.

Unless and until the defense complies with discovery, there's no way to be sure what all they think they have to support this already-proven-false assertion. In all liklihood, they don't have much more. When Kathi Belich and Bob Kealing, among others, are laughing so hard that they snort when reporting this "evidence" they turn over, they may decide to stop making that crazy claim.

I'm wondering if this isn't the SA's way of showing us that JB & co really don't have anything. He's been blah blah blahing about all this evidence he's got to prove kc's innocence. So, SA's just saying "Sure, let's just see that". With all his doing his best to taint the jury pool and complain that's what the SA is doing, I'm not surprised.

If things work out right, FL just might have to declare a special day for people like KB, LDB, and the folks at Morgan's firm (not to mention MN for doing a 180 and representing TM) - who had the integrity and stones to take on JB, his client and her family and their costly travesty of justice for reasons that are every bit as self-centered as the reason poor Caylee died. The Anthonys would rather inflict pain on others than take on more themselves; even if it's caused by one of their own.

If our heroes above can limit the taxpayer damage just a bit, or collect even a smidgeon of justice for all of the innocent bystanders thrown under their bus, it would be wonderful.

I have no doubt Caylee will get her justice - but I think the unnecessary collateral damage KC and her family have created for so very many also deserves attention.

That is kind of funny because, as I watched KC in court the other day, I was hit with a horrible thought: Appearance-wise - without makeup - KC kind of looks like Dorothy from the Wiz Of Oz. I am hoping the jury will not notice it too!!! Smart move for defense to make her take off makeup and grow out her hair.

I guess, that would make Lee the Tin Man, CA the Scarecrow and, of course, GA is the cowardly lion, lol.

Re-reading :read: LE's :cop: interview with DC, with Brad C present, truly shows what a :liar: DC is.

He is purposefully NOT FORTHCOMING with the truth, he only tells the truth when confronted by LE :detective: that they know the answer to the question or if Brad comes out and tells him tell the truth.


I've never really given much care or thought to his relationship with the A's and Baez/Casey :grouphug: but after re-reading :read: that interview I question his character, and I most certainly question his willingness to be truthful, especially in Court in front of a Judge, as we have in the Civil case this week, his untruthfullness has carried over into the Civil Case.
