I wonder if Baez testifying has anything to do with the letters from KC he allegedly took out of the jail for CA and GA per Lee's text message to CA? Also, is the FBG on the witness list?

Oh well, It was fun while it lasted. Too bad he is off the list now

It was done in error, said State Attorney's Office spokeswoman Danielle Tavernier. An amended list will be filed later today.

Others included on the list are law-enforcement officials and Anthony's family and friends.

ga made statements to the le about the retainer, and about speaking to jb about it, jb told ga, kc had paid him partial amount is that a violation of attorney client privilege ? tia

Payment information is usually not privileged, and I'm not sure how that would be relevant anyway....but maybe JB had more substantive discussions with GA/CA about the actual crime.

If JB's position is in question since he has been named as a witness for the prosecution, that probably explains the reason a new attorney, Jack K., is on file with OC clerk's office.

Thanks Coley....I was just about to post this info. Somebody in the State Attorney's office must not have been paying attention to what they were doing.

Oops. There's a slight problem with the state's witness list filed Monday in the Casey Anthony case.

The defendant's attorney, Jose Baez, is named among the 83 potential state witnesses. That would make defending her mighty difficult.

It was done in error, said State Attorney's Office spokeswoman Danielle Tavernier. An amended list will be filed later today.

Others included on the list are law-enforcement officials and Anthony's family and friends.

The question is, has he recovered from his heart attack yet? I'm sure it took him by surprise!

He probably threw his hands up and said they got me. I'm busted.

I know the one time they arrested kc at home and jb went inside the home (after she had been taken away) instead of the jail...I thought it odd since kc was the client...why talk to parents first? jmo

Nancy Grace also kinda warned kobi last night (I think it was last night) that he better make sure he said things correctly.... (somehting along that line) or they could be used in court.

jmo

That is about the day that I first started to say I thought he was making himself a witness in the case. Not only did he go see her parents first, but he also made a statement on their lawn. Where I come from, you would need instructions from your client to make public statements on their behalf, and I don't see how he could have gotten those instructions when his client was in custody. I think JB was in way over his head.

Law firm employees would be OK, but perhaps JB has been repeating things that would otherwise be privileged to people outside the scope of the privilege--LA, CA, GA, LP...who knows?

And the press. IMO he put way too much out there about his client's case. No real criminal lawyer does that. Everyone knows a client often changes their instructions re what happened, and you don't go out and start putting on the record every piece of rubbish your client feeds you.
