Steven Avery: Guilty of Teresa Halbach's Murder? #2

Like you, I watched MaM, all 10 episodes. By the end of it, I was fuming. I felt BA was railroaded, SA was innocent and TH's killer was on the loose having gotten away with it. I came here and was shocked that people were saying SA was guilty. So I read the transcripts of the trial and was shocked that so much was left out of MaM. But even then, I remembered things KZ had said so I shrugged most of it off. Then I watched the first episode of CaK and again shrugged. So what. CO spreading rumors...ho hum. But by the end of the 2nd episode I began to question. Then by episode 3 my heart sank because it was clear not only SA was guilty, but so was BA. The last episode we watched tonight and it showed how complicit the entire family was in those jailhouse phonecalls. It was ugly and you really get how horrible TH's last moments were. I agree, everyone needs to watch CaK.

I've always thought he was guilty and watched the first two episodes of MaM.

SO much was either purposly left out or scenes from the trial were spliced together to make it look like said person said this or purposly withheld this etc.

Steven Avery is 1000 percent a monster

In a new motion filed Thursday, Avery’s attorney, Kathleen Zellner, said the motion is to request testing for touch DNA in the RAV-4 that belonged to Teresa Halbach.

Good luck finding any touch DNA after 18+ years
In that amount of time, I would suspect many mice have made Teresa's vehicle their home and passed it down to their heirs, who are still happily living there with children of their own. I don't imagine the vehicle has been sitting in a climate controlled, secure, dust proof, rodent proof facility all this time. Try getting some DNA out of that.

(Thinking of Reggie in Forty Eight Hours going to the garage to get his car, I wonder if they have charged the battery lately)

Totally agree! The most disingenuous part of MaM I thought was the big "smoking gun" they declared that was the needle prick in the tube holding SA's blood sample, not bothering to point out that that was how they put the blood IN to the tube.......

I think it’s incredibly, highly like that Scott and Bobby had something to do with Theresa’s death.

Scott with the BS story about hunting then frantically trying to sell his rifle the next day.

Scott and Bobby’s alibis?? They waved at each other on the road???

Anyways, I can DEF see Scott taking some of Stevens blood and smearing it near the ignition. Listen to Scott and Stevens jail conversation one day….

How in the living hell is this funny to ANYone?

I have long thought Scott and/or Bobby ambushed Teresa or accidently shot her and went through with an exaggerate coverup with the perfect patsy to pin it on.

It's funny because there is ZERO evidence that Scott or Bobby had anything to do with Teresa's murder and if there were, Zellner would have presented it ages ago. Theories don't count nor does the paper delivery guy who suddenly came forward with seeing a shirtless Bobby and some guy pushing Teresa's RAV4 toward the Avery Salvage Yard.

I'm not going to debate the evidence against Avery as it's been done ad nauseam - there are plenty of other places to do this or maybe someone here will listen to your "theories".

Avery and Dassey have rightfully been locked up for 18+ years on these convictions and hopefully will be there until they come out in pine boxes. Avery specifically is a vile, evil man who treated women like trash.

Now if you have new evidence, by all means send it along to Kathleen Zeller.

Clearly you have a much more..."personal" connection to this case than me.

Logically, based on all of the massive amounts of craziness in this case, its extremely hard not to look at the two of them sideways.

I guess that's a good alibi though, they waved at each other on some road at some extremely specific time they both observed for whatever reason....stellar airtight alibi.

Did they do it? I dunno. Did Steven? Dunno.

Only the responsible parties know.

I don’t disagree that Steven is a 🤬🤬🤬.

I do think that many people had reasons to steer things towards him being involved. The keys, the blood (I can see him being an idiot and slob blood all over the sink for no reason), a search party finding the car immediately on the lot (not crushed though he knew how to but goes back to being an idiot and leaving things around).

There’s lots more small parts that always seem so iffy. The undisturbed garage, the lack of bedroom evidence, etc.

If Steven did commit the murder, I think it’s fully possible multiple people covered their own 🤬🤬*es in order to keep their personal agenda in tact, as opposed to it being a conspiracy against Steven. (Teresa’s weirdo boyfriend, Scott, Bobby, the sheriffs department all had a lot to lose by not putting their suspicions on to Steven)

I personally think that’s much more likely what happened and much less likely that Steven actually committed the murder.

I also wouldn’t be shocked if all the what-ifs were fully cleared and it was Steven anyways.

My connection to this case is simply having read, watched or listened to all associated court documents, police reports, exhibits, interviews, trials, documentaries and books. No more or less than any other amateur sleuth interested in the case would have done.

If that makes it "personal", I question your definition of personal.

Avery’s defense team has filed an appeal to reverse his conviction. Avery has made multiple attempts to appeal his conviction and get a new trial

Appeal was denied - Zellner plans to appeal next to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
