No, I don't think his earned pension can be taken away even if he commits a felony. Especially since his felony had nothing to do with his job. And he has been at his job for quite a few years. Government pensions don't require that long to become vested. He won't get rich off it, but with SS, it should be enough for an apartment and lights and heat.

But I am sure he has twisted everything in his mind to make HIS family the victims and SUSAN'S family the mean ol' bullies who just want all "his" money! I will be very disappointed if any of the Powells get one red cent.

It would probably be put in Alina's name so that he wouldn't have to pay the judgment with any insurance money..

That is possible. I do not recall who the policies named as beneficiaries. I believe Michael was the main beneficiary, with much lesser amounts payable to the sister and the last brother. Since Michael is dead, if he did not have a will then his portion of the estate would then go to the statutory heir, which would most likely be Steve. The only way Steve could NOT get the money would be to file some sort of disclaimer to the estate and it would then go to the brother and sister.

However, I really think the court will award all the money to Susan's family. May God make it so.

If the knows where Susan was disposed of, you can bet he will go back there. He needs to be watched closely, IMO.

*He hasn't spent anywhere near enough time in jail for his crimes. He won't stop. They never do. They cannot be 'cured' either!

I know we all use the whole "He's not right" term in a tongue and cheek sort of way, but not with the likes of these two. They "seriously" are not right....and this is scary news. You are correct. He just ain't right. Since he has a big mouth and an even bigger, narcissistic ego, he probably won't be able to control himself and will get beat up for mouthing off to the wrong guy. Just my prediction, not a threat of any kind.

Seriously this man is a serious sicko and a danger to human life. He has no regard for human life and will likely be even more twisted and vengeful for having to have served time, his stash of stalker/predator pics taken and not getting all the millions he thinks he is owed from insurance policies. Good, keep where he will be living in the news. That way local people can speak up and say no or maybe landlords will change their mind...Wouldn't it be a hoot if he ended up serving like 20 years before he ever finds a place (middle of nowhere, 100's of miles from people)? I would think he is too sneaky for that; he stood behind blinds to take pictures of and video young girls in the bathroom. He stood outside the bathroom door to take pictures of Susan. Those are acts of a coward. I hope he starts going to where LE can find clues about Susan or her remains.

My daughter was molested by my brother-in-law and the only thing that kept me or my husband from killing him was that we had other children that needed us to be home and not in jail.

I expect Powell needs to watch his back once he gets out. Mr. Cox and Jennifer Graves just might get him.
