Sting Operation?!

Did Kronk ever mention that LE was not looking in the right spot the first few times he called? Or did LE admit they had not searched in the "correct" area? I think JB and DC have some secrets between them. JMO

I don't know but I have found the whole situation with him odd. Not saying it didnt happen just as he has stated but it's just another weird twist in an already very queer case.

What a perfect blackmail setup to get DC in trouble...Then it is tampering with evidence. How can it be used?

Now gone! I hadn't heard that but, come to think of it, I never could see the fence!
We heard there was a fence put up and, IIRC, why TES didn't go back at one point. I have not seen a fence which would obstruct anyone from being in that area...so what is the deal with the fence? Am I going crazy or was there a darn fence?!

Here is what I know everyone on this board agrees on.

1. we have fallen in love with Caylee
2. we wanted her found
3. we want her laid to rest
4. there are a lot of strong emontions attached to this case
5. we want justice for Caylee
6. we appreciate the efforts of LE, Tes and anyone who searched or donated, prayed, cheered on those searchers.

Yes LeLe -- this is for sure.

I got burnt big time on the Duke LaCrosse team scandal and I didn't like it much either. (NG has never apologized for her "opinions" either.) I have been different since.

It does not hurt to discuss this from a "sting" theory ... everything else is being discussed and maybe it will shake some ideas loose. No one should be afraid of ideas. Ideas shouldn't scare anyone. This is not a football game with penants and wild fans .... lol, or is it. My goodness.

I never heard that either, wow, found on his B-day, amazing. I do believe in angels:)

So do I! It made me cry to think how happy TM must have been to have gotten the call that she was found, and wondered if this could have been his birthday present from his daughter. I know the thought had to have crossed his mind and brought him some peace knowing that she was with Caylee and would look after her now. (Oh! I'm tearing up just thinking about it again!)

Do you know anything about the fence which was supposedly put up after the TES search and now gone?

SS, Nov 9 I was in the area of Suburban/Hopespring after I had searched for Caylee on the 8th. I just did a driveby of area to get a sense of how far away KC lived from the area my team had searched (Hoffner/Goldenrod, said to have been the area George was staring into a couple of days prior). There was not a fence along Suburban site where Caylee was found.

Dec 27 I was back in area to look at the mem site. I did not see a fence at the site she was found. I did see tall newer looking chain link fence on the same side but at the dead end of Suburban. It did not continue down along the heavily wooded area to the homeowners wooden fence w of remains site.

I think I may have seen on one of the PI videos of a cleared area showing typical ranch style wooden posts and barbed wire. Don't know if this was the "fence" but was erected further back into the woods and I didn't see it when I was there.

Gee...Manny...they do have cameras n such for surveillance work where people don't lurk behind trees or climb up into trees to stake out areas. This isn't some lame PI operation...it is the FBI. Maybe they were getting very tired of being lied to by Casey, the defense team, and the A fam camp so decided to put an end to it to find Caylee.

This tape, imo, does NOT benefit the defense at all. Of course, they will spin it as such...but I don't see it.

I was joking about the people hiding in trees, however I still don't see any benefit to "smoking out anyone" I was really asking what is the benefit to LE?
If someone wandered into that area...like the MR .. would they immediately arrest him? I just don't see the benefit of leaving a child in the woods when the whole world is watching and waiting for her to be found. Just don't see it.

Well, of course, I was joking about people hiding behind trees. However, what would it benefit LE or the FBI. If they were to stake out where the body was, would they arrest the MR when he wandered onto the scene? I don't believe if that happened the backlash would be so bad they would never live it down.
So that is why I don't believe there was any plan by LE or FBI or any other person to delay the discovery of Caylee. The whole world was watching, whether they were sick of Casey and her lies or not. I can't see that as a motive to take such a risk.

I wonder if we were in the same search group. I also searched that area on the 8th. Were you part of the group that had to stay behind and wait (forever, I might add) while the dog searched the area?

Thanks, LeLe! :blowkiss: I agree it never hurts to get the whole "think tank" thing going around here. ;) It is what we used to do all the time and seemingly have gotten so far away from it on this case.

I think it is because there were and are so many divisions. People took sides early on with Alive Caylee and well...the rest of us. People who have sided with the A fam...and the rest of us. People who say Casey is innocent...and the rest of us. People who are on the defense's side and people who are on the side of Caylee, LE, and the SA's Office. People who want justice for Caylee and...well...hopefully that is everyone and we are not divided there.

and people who are/were just plain clueless until the facts are/can be verified but, in the meantime, oscillate between all of the above stances. Think tanks ward off group-think which is a good thing. I love that about this place.

With case getting bigger .... I spend more time trying to get on Server than actually on it. Maybe we need to donate $$ for more bandwith. ????

Thanks, Athinker! Maybe the fence is the one at the end of Suburban then which could prevent them from searching beyond that point. (And thank you for searching for Caylee! Hugs~)

Welcome and thank you for searching for Caylee, too! :blowkiss:

Radio, we are on the same wavelength today. I was thinking the same thing about donating for more bandwith. That, and I also want some solid facts on this case. I would be very happy if LE would just tell us who DC was talking to on those tapes. That would keep me happy for a while... and when I say "a while" I mean 10 minutes.

Oh, that group isn't clueless...they are simply concrete thinkers. Nothing but the facts will do.

I like facts, but I also appreciate we can read between the lines in cases (and we do quite well) because if we waited on LE to present them...we would never get any where on any case...and certainly never get ahead! LOL Sometimes, you just have to look beyond what is right in front of you. We are still going on facts which have already been verified tho.
