Defense attorney: this case has been treated as a murder case. IMO, defense is presenting a very weak statement.
 
Everybody is watching - I need to convince you not to put DR in jail. I have to climb a mountain. This is not about a simple case of invasion of privacy, this case has been a murder case. That DR has some responsibilty in the terrible, terrible choice that Tyler made. That DR is a demon.
 
Of all of the information that the jury did not know, that everyone else does not know. Something about conversations that Tyler had that were not presented into evidence.

If DR knew that what he did was a factor in what Tyler did, we would not have gone to trial. I will not disparage Tyler. I respect more than everything on how they feel about losing a child. There is information that you have, the PT has - private, which answers the question as to why.

DT may be crying.

Clearly the punishment must fit the crime, unless there is a serious injustice.

I don't understand why he would ask the judge to consider evidence that was not introduced during the trial. :confused:
 
This is difficult - my heart goes out to the Clementi's as well as DR's family.

DR parents are now speaking.

Father: To the judge, please show the heart today. Please ensure the final chapter ends on a good note, and not an American nightmare.

Rest in peace Tyler, not a day goes by where we don't think about Tyler. Also blaming media, a storm.

DR was never a bully, never had any hatred against gays. Bullying has no role in this case. Made a statement that they and DR are victims of non stop bullying from prosecutors and media.

We tried to reach out to speak to family but we were not allowed.

Mother: I have two children, I left to come to this country to start a beatiful life. Mom is now crying. (she seems to be a very nice lady, very upset, and my heart goes out to her)
 
Did Ravi's father have the nerve to say it was a "malicious prosecution"???? OMG!

DR's father needs to shut the heck up....now I see where he got his arrogance and attitude...SIT DOWN DUDE....you allowed your son to take a chance instead of pleading guilty to a lesser charge, he now must pay the piper...sorry, guy...your son is wrong and wrong is why he's where he's at..SIT THE HELL DOWN...you sound insidious...callous, ignorant....you will get your son more time if you don't allow him to take responsiblity...beisdes having a hard time understanding his words...

I wonder if DR will address the court himself...

I'm watching InSession...his father is off the wall..he really needs to shut up now...this is not asking for leniency, he too is blaming TC since he committed suicide..so he doesn't acknowledge his sons actions...

Not once have either parent addressed what their son has done, its all about how this has effected them and their son.
