IF they did that (and I have a hard time believing that they did) I hope the kid wins the suit.

From OP's Link-
"Redding, who was also accused in the complaint of being involved in the search, was fired about a month later, the lawsuit said. McDowell was placed on administrative leave before subsequently resigning.
Redding declined to comment and McDowell could not be reached."

Redding was the resource officer & McDowell was the vice principal.

This is sad if its true. I hope the student wins the suit.

As a parent I would have met that teacher and took care of a thing or two myself. This is ridiculous. I hope the teacher is found guilty and puniished.

It seems that every now and then, an educator or group of educators goes completely bonkers. I assume it's due to the pressure of dealing with large numbers of energetic children, but WTF?
