You very well could be correct, however, how does Law Enforcement prosecute a person that is already dead?

I fear this case will go down in the anals of criminal history as a long talked about case, similar to Jack the Ripper in England, and the Lindbergh case.

I suspect that JR still has all of Patsy's rings.

I am not familliar with law, however, isn't there something that could be declared or decided if a case is solved and the perp turns out to be dead?

I don't know. Does anyone here know what happens in that case?

You're going outside the scope of evidence to try and claim something as evidence. The flashlight in question that was taken into evidence has a rubber coating. I challenge you to prove to me that the flashlight in evidence does not have a rubber coating.

I contacted the Maglite company and asked about rubber coatings and received this reply from a rep via email:

Thanks Nehemiah. I wonder how the confusion arose then? Is it possible that the name Maglite has become synonomous for a flashlight? I mean - in the same was as people refer to a vacuum cleaner as a "hoover"? In the UK, we refer to sticking tape as cellotape - but Cellotape is a brand name and there are other brands. I think the Americans call it scotch tape - Scotchtape is a brand name too.

That cr*p about not wanting to disturb her is ridiculous. He is afraid of what they might find. If JB was really killed by an "intruder", and the killer was still at large, and if an exhumation of JB's body may possibly shed some light on who the killer is, then John would be jumping at the chance...to finally be able, to maybe....help his daughter rest in peace, and to have justice finally done. He doesn't want her body exhumed and examined, because he knows what they might find....evidence that points to him and/or Patsy.

What are some possibilities? We know she was buried with his scarf around her neck. Do you mean he may have also put something else into the casket? The body was autopsied, so what else could there be on it that hasn't been examined? No kidding, honest question. Color me a little sleepy this afternoon but I just can't think of anything that would have gotten past the examiners.

Yes, the scarf....and possibly the medical examiner could have looked over something....marks on her body, etc. It happens all the time....people die of "natural causes" for example, and then years later, because the family has doubts, the body is exhumed and re-examined, and low and behold...the person was poisoned. This is just an example....ME's are not perfect, they are human and make mistakes, just like everyone else. I personally think that at the time of JB's death, that TWO autopsies should have been performed THEN, but since only one was performed....John should agree to a second one being done now...unless...of course...he is hiding something, which would be MY guess as to why he doesn't want her body exhumed. Forensic science has come along way, since ten years ago. John AIN'T no dummy....he knows what he is doing.

I don't know,but in regards to the stun gun theory,he doesn't want her exhumed in order to prove that for sure,one way or the other.he just wants everyone to take it at face value and believe that a stun gun was used.so it is for that reason alone,or are there more?PR said the wrong cat was given to her...and she replaced it with another,the 'right one';was there something about that one maybe,something hidden in it and buried with her?

LOL...there was a whole thread dedicated to his eye lift on FFJ. Videos from past and present prove that he had some work done on his eyes...it is obvious, unless of course, he prayed to God to make him look younger, and the next day...poof, his eyes were lifted. I seriously doubt thats the way that it happened though.

I have a feeling that a whole lot more than JB's body was buried in that casket. And I agree with you, those "stun gun marks", weren't really stun gun marks. JR knows this, and that is one reason that he doesn't want her body exhumed. Could bruises that weren't showing when the autopsy was done show up later? There's a picture of a dead man's stun gun marks 6 mo later and they still looked fresh. He'd been dead that long.

Not that I want us to get into the stun gun discussion again. But you're saying the marks might look different now, more pronounced? More definitive? That those who disagreed before that they were stun gun marks might now agree they were if they could see the body now? Would there still be flesh on it ten years later?

I think there is a test they can do on the skin to see if it's from a stun gun?
