IMO LE would be very interested in more than just Dylans or his parents web activity, anyone trying to obstruct the investigation, maybe cross checking if there are any RSOs following the case etc

the date an account was active or inactive from could also be of interest to LE.

WE can't prove it one way or another but LE can.

viewing things online leaves a footprint regardless of having a facebook account.

What in the world could a facebook profile do to obstruct an investigation? I've never even seen an MR profile post except on MSM.

exactly. And there are rational explanations for MR profiles being in existence that are not "our" Mark Redwine. We will not know.

its not just a facebook profile, theres been a lot of things occur online that could be a hindrance/obstruction. fake profiles to try and hide their identities, IP cloaking etc theres lots of things LE would be looking at IMO

I don't know about someone attempting to silence EH. When I've looked, that appears to have been fruitless. As far as cloaking identity--have you seen what these people do to people who disagree with them? I don't blame anyone at all for not wanting pictures of their kids, their old myspace account, ss of conversations they had years prior featured on a facebook page--regardless of their position(s) on this case.

Yes he made mention of when the dogs were first up there, when the dogs were first there they didn't have any scent items for Dylan, remember those had to be picked up from colorado springs the following weekend.

If MR knew that the postman sighting of Dylan was false why did he go on Dr Phil and announce Dylan had indeed been seen on Monday morning ? - IMO if he did know then that's a sign of guilt as only the guilty party would want to muddy the waters and throw suspicion of themselves and say something like that to make people look elsewhere !

I haven't read the other comments yet, but listening to this interview, here are my impressions. I admit I went into it thinking he's the perp but seeing if he'd say anything to change my mind. No, didn't happen. I heard someone who cares more about how he looks or who is suspicious of him than finding his son. I heard someone who still is angry at his ex-wife. What to me was really telling is how he clung to anything that might exonerate him, and how he was very vague about when and where he did searches and was quick to find an excuse for not doing as much as people thought he should do. I detected anger at being suspected which is understandable whether justified or not, however it seemed to override other concerns. I admit I expected to hear these kinds of things so was therefore listening for them. If he would submit a list of when and where he searched and it could be checked against cell phone pings, I might change my opinion. But in the meantime if I was searching I'd look in the places where this guy says not to look, unless further information comes in. Just my opinon, from someone who is only somewhat informed about this case and not an expert.

I question that because they did not have his scent at the time. It was reported that the dogs picked up ' A scent' and tracked it, not specifically Dylan's.

How do you eliminate an entire county when MR also spoke of how vast the area is and that there are areas that they are just now being able to get to?

How do you eliminate an entire county when MR also spoke of how vast the area is and that there are areas that they are just now being able to get to?

If he honestly believes that Dylan is NOT in LaPlata County, then why did he tell Tricia that he searches there? He also said he didn't know where to search. I imagine that it's overwhelming to have a child missing for any parent.

I'd also be armed while searching, since he said he is armed while searching (if he really does). Not that there is anything wrong with him being armed in itself, but better to be careful. If he's really searching and there are death threats against him, then yes he should be armed. And yes there are bears and mountain lions in Colorado, so nothing suspicious in itself in being armed.

If I were him I'd document when and where I was searching and submit my documentation to LE whether they want him to do it or not. I can understand not sharing the info with anyone else - I'm not sure I would either. I would record GPS waypoints and take photos and get a topo map and mark where I thought I was and record voice notes on landmarks and things and send all that in, then LE can decide if the info is useful or not. Maybe I'd share it with a search organization that was involved also. That's what I'd do if I was genuinely searching. I am experienced in the outdoors and that would be my approach, just based on what I know now, but if instructed to act differently by LE I might act differently. And if I had consciousness of guilt, I probably would not do anything of the sort, because I would assume my routes would be analyzed by experts and I might be giving something away without knowing it.

I thought about that while trying to sleep last night. At that time, LE probably didn't have proof Dylan was there &/or if they used maybe the sweat pants or a pillow, there could have been mixed scents. So perhaps after Elaine had clothes brought down, they were able to confirm Dylan's scent or perhaps Mark is assuming it is Dylan's? I am believing Mark on this because it doesn't look favorable to him as if the dogs are correct Dylan left the property in a vehicle.
