Why isn't it 'very damaging' to ER and everyone else when they dig and dig and create and/or post on webpages devoted to slandering him on a daily basis? I've yet to see a 'Calling Elaine Redwine' page with daily veiled threats and perpetual insults.

JMO.

I try to stay away from all of those pages, but I did check out a couple for myself. Honestly, Tonto, from what you say, I think you'd be horrified to read what they say about her. Nothing is taboo -- not someone's cancer, not ER's mother dying, nothing. I know we're not supposed to go on about FB, so I'll end it here -- but check them out and see for yourself.

IMO.

They may have been out after the show to follow up once again. However they had ALREADY cleared up that case of mistaken identity before the Dr Phil taping. There was a big banner announcement on FMDR about the 2 boys who had been seen around town, and one of them looked just like DYlan and people were calling them in as sightings. It was determined then that the boy who looked like Dylan lived in Vallecito and he was not Dylan. And the mail lady who saw the boy was mistaking this kid for Dylan. That was reported long before the Dr Phil taping.

If they ALREADY cleared up the case of mistaken identity, why would they waste time to follow up? Either she saw him or she didn't. If LE had already completely ruled it out, then it should be done...kaput. No need to follow up, right?

I have suspicions towards Mark whether he has digs at someone/everyone or not and it has nothing to do if I like him or not. The digs are a distraction from the question he may or may not do on purpose, so I try to ignore them, but I end up distracted saying WTH . Needless to say I will have to re-listen to see if I missed important info.

I didn't take it as him calling Brandon a liar. He seemed genuinely surprised that Brandon supposedly said that. IMO, it was not Brandon he was calling a liar.

He was probably calling Elaine a liar. His problem though is that he has said so many conflicting things that people will not jump to that conclusion that she is the liar. He constantly says things then tries to backtrack as if he did not say that thing. He did it tonight on Tricia's show. He slammed Elaine for being a media hog and only pretending to search for her son in front of the cameras, then when called on it, he said he did not mean it as a criticism. :waitasec:

Tricia: In the affidavits that were released, it said they found two iPods. And maybe you don't know, maybe you don't know what's going on, but....

Elaine: I do.

Tricia: Ok, tell us.

Elaine: Well, the iPods that um they found was not, one of them was not Dylan's iPod touch, which is the one he used all the time. The other 3 iPods that there were basically my iPods. that you know may have been there from an earlier time that Dylan was there. He always used my iPods or his brother's ipods or his brother's girlfriends iPod, but none of those were his iPod touch.

What????
I say "What?" also. Elaine say's that the "3" I Pods are her's but she throws in the possibility that one may be Cory's and one may be Cory's girlfriends.

Why does it have to be so convoluted?

It was done, over and done with. Then Mark put it out there AGAIN on National TV, so they went out and re-interviewed, and ONCE AGAIN found the same kids and said it was a misidentification. Same as before. And Mark knew all along but he wanted something to say on Dr Phil so he dredged up that old phony sighting.

I'd like to make a motion to stop sleuthing and/or posting derogatory remarks and insinuations about Mark Redwine unless or until LE names him a suspect or POI. He has gone above and beyond to make himself available, answered any and all questions posed to him, and he deserves to be treated like a victim in this case at this point.

Or, no one and nothing should be out of bounds. JMO.

I feel the same way and will continue to strive to follow Tricia's example in all cases. I know I might have my times, but I just don't believe certain remarks that are emotionally motivated are beneficial in any thread.

eta: I hope for Dylans sake the parents can stop with the behavior that they both are aware of that is contributing to the conflict. I would be wonderful if everyone could set a good example on how to act/not act.

so could there possibly be missing pages to the search warrant papers released?

Well then perhaps there is a lesson to be learned. Like, not letting unhinged people that post on those sites post here, as well as those that harbor and incite them. Perhaps not permitting MR to be ridiculed on here will go a long way in calming the 'storm de psycho' that's raging elsewhere. It would at least be a decent gesture.

When my kids moved out they left about 4 old iPods here at the house. One is my DD"s ex bf's and one was my DS's friends. The other two were theirs. People get new ones and shed the old ones like nothing. It makes total sense to me that D left old ones there at other times. None of them were the i-pod touch type.

What did he 'intend' when he said "unlike my exwife, I don't search only for the public 'recognition' and run after cameras to follow me. "

When did Mark say that?

When did Mark say that?
If you go back and listen, it is there. It wasn't his best moment.

"The difference between I-I think that me and my ex-wife is that I don't search because I'm looking for recognition, an' I search because it's the right thing to do and it's what I want to be a part of in bringing Dylan home. So, you know, just because I don't go out and-and-and-and follow the cameras, doesn't mean I'm not out searching."

(It's a direct quote to the best of my ability-no disrespect meant by the stuttering)

Your saying that Dylan left Cory's girlfriends I pod at Mark's house? I guess that's possible but it's still convoluted if you ask me.

When did Mark say that?

At about 6:25 pm, he said the following:

" I have made many efforts..the difference between me and my ex wife, I don't search because of the recognition and follow the cameras around..."

Wow, must be nice to be able to piss away $$ like that.

Even the cheapest iPod is still $50. I still use my first iPod shuffle.

Yup. Dylan probably was given his older brothers extra i-pods to use. He probably left them at his dads at other visits. JMO

If it's from Tricia's show then don't bother looking. I admit that I don't know Mark's intent with that comment.

My DD won two of them at her graduation party. My husband works at Disney Studios and they gave them to the employees for Christmas. My son used to work at Best Buy and they sold the used and damaged ones really cheap. We had several bouncing around here at all times.

No. Cory's girlfriends I Pod being in the mix is what I find convoluted.

Same thing. She probably let Dylan have her old one when she got the ipod touch. Both my kids left their old ones in the junk drawer once they got the ipod touch.
