If the music played before going to voicemail, tells me that the phone was NOT turned off but at some point in time later, the battery died or was removed?

Yes. My son's phone does exactly this. If it plays music on the caller's end, it is ringing (vibrating) wherever the phone is. If it does not play music, it immediately goes to voicemail, which happens if it is turned off or if the battery is dead. If someone leaves a voicemail and the phone is turned on, the phone beeps until the battery dies or someone checks the phone.

Not really that difficult to believe. Jodi Arias did 48 Hrs and Inside Edition, twice. Scott Peterson did the same thing. I am sure there are others as well.

Hey, He needs to do something. It took him long enought to "come out", after pleading by family members and the public. Now he's on a mission! He needs an army of people to help and what better way to get the word out! Now is the time to take action? We will see what the follow-up is on all the things that are in the works...in progress. What happened to his communication with Marc Klass?

I think it is VERY important info, that Dylan never replied to any of his texts before his visit in November. That tells me that ER was telling the truth about Dylan not wanting to visit him. And it explains why he was so eager to go to Ryan's that night and then early the next morning. And it makes me even more suspicious that he did not get up at 6:30 to catch a ride.

Mark to be back on Tricia's show in a couple weeks to give us an update of where he has been and how many posters he have put up....

Because we passed the "6 month mark"!
He used the excuse that there is no blueprint or roadmap when faced with this, and now he is learning the right things to do, like search for his child. If your child was missing it would come pretty naturally to go look for him, wouldn't ya think?

Did anyone else notice that both of the movies we know about were R rated, rather crude type, movies. That brings me back to Dylan possibly trying to push the envelope, see what could he get by with. It's just a thought.

But it is also not rocket science and time is of a essence in all cases . I think it is the first 48 hours ( correct me if i am wrong) that is the most important .

I always watched certificate 18 videos from the age of about 8 and all my friends parents were lax as well. I dont know if its a u,k thing tho but i don't see the big deal in a 13 year old watching a 18 (R in the u,s ) as he is old enough to understand its a film :cow: and with having a older brother i doubt it was the first time :cow:

I would like to know if there was any significance to his dialogue about walking into Walmart, where he was trailing Dylan - and then making a point about how hes a slow walker?

I agree with you and I'm sorry to say this, but I think now it's more a matter of public perception in the case of MR. But it does help get the word out about Dylan if indeed he follows through. JMO

I agree. It is vital to get the word out about Dylan. But my problem with MR is that it is 7 months after the fact. And my suspicions are that he is just doing it now to throw some of the suspicion and blame off of him, since he is so aware of the public perception. It would have been nice if he made this big effort back at the start of this mess. JMO

No, I never heard the question asked? I wanted to ask in the chat room to have Tricia ask, but you had to register with Facebook ID. I have never had a Facebook page, don't want one and never will want one. :blushing::floorlaugh:

Well, either Mr. Klass didn't call him back or Mark didn't like what Mr. Klass had to say....isn't it Mr. Klass that said a parent has to do everything to clear themselves???

So now is Mark going to miraculously find Dylan? (I pray he does).

I think he (Mark) has found a new way to play his old games.

If he did have anything to do with Dylan's disappearance, now perhaps Dylan can come home.

I hope LE is tracking his every move. And I hope searches continues in the Vallecito, Durango, Bayfield and areas around the lake continue. Mark seems to want the searches to move on away from the area (you know, move along nothing to see here).

It was also very interesting that LE attended the mediation, and that they had given ER some information. I think, imo only, that they gave her some info that told her he was lying about some of his previous statements. JMO

Ok, I finally had a chance to listen to the radio show. I noticed people were asking about FDF being an official page. I didn't hear MR say it was an official page nor did I hear Tricia call it one. What I heard in this was Tricia asking MR if he thought about setting up a website where people, like reporters or others who had resources that could help him with his search efforts for his son(after it was established that he and ER could probably not work together on this front.) MR then mentions that is a page that people could go to with that information and after a few other questions from Tricia, he just kind of goes into what the page is about, how he is in communication daily with this page and that he gives information as he knows it to this page.

Again he doesn't say it's an official page, just the page that he is in contact with, that he is working with, and that if people want to use a website to communicate things with him to use that page.

What I don't understand was ER's need to say the other pages and sites were the official pages for Dylan. It wasn't about official pages at all, it was about how certain people could get into contact with MR to offer their services to him in regards to the search for his son or if they wanted information about searches for Dylan as he knows them to be.

Yep and MR did not go into detail when asked about what Elaine had asked. Surely he had to have known some of the things they had discussed as it was the middle of last week.

IMO - He did not want to reveal the questions asked as they show him in a guilty light in relation to Dylan vanishing !!

Last week he said he didnt have a Facebook. So how is he in touch with FDF EVERY DAY? Does he call the admin or email her?

I'm guessing that there was much more accomplished in this mediation than Mark lets on, or knows. I think there was a lot of questions by LE and Elaine about Dylan's demeanor from the time he got off the plane. And about how Dylan had expressed his desire to not visit his father at all (moo), and possibly voiced this to his mother before he left. I think they probably brought up the way Dylan looked in the Walmart footage, and why Dylan didn't even want to walk with his father into the store.
This was the first time I know ot that Mark admitted how Dylan was "distant" and it was difficult
for the two of them to communicate. Although Mark tries to downplay Dylans attitude and how he
reacted to it, I think it was a huge focus of LE to ask and gauge his responses to these questions.

Wasn't the last show 06/02/2013 and MR said that he had sent an email to Klaas just the day before. I can't imagine that this wonderful foundation would delay a reply to the father of a missing child for so long.
